In an opinion piece for CNN, attorney and USA TODAY contributor Raul Reyes details how Trump's words and actions target and traumatize Latinos. He is especially outraged by Trump's El Paso photo op, writing, "The President and his wife posed with an infant who is now an orphan because of the mass shooting. In the photo, Melania Trump is smiling while Trump is grinning and giving a thumbs-up sign, as though they were at a red-carpet event. This image is beyond offensive, as it was the President's rhetoric that led to the baby's parents being killed. That any President, much less the one who locked up children, and the first lady who wore a 'I really don't care do U?' jacket on a prior border visit, would use a child as a prop is repulsive."

    Trump's cruelty never stops

After sex offender and child molester Jeffrey Epstein hanged himself in his Manhattan jail cell two days ago, Emperor Trump re-tweeted a conspiracy theory: Epstein didn't commit suicide. He was killed by Bill and Hillary Clinton. (Presumably, Trump has seen surveillance video showing them entering the prison and breaking into Epstein's cell, then strangling him.) Vaccines cause autism. Barack Obama was born in Kenya. Muslims in New Jersey cheered after the 9/11 attacks. Ted Cruz's father had ties to President Kennedy's assassin. Emperor Trump, a typical, racist, bigoted, right-wing white nationalist, is quick to believe every conspiracy theory spread by Fox News and alt-right websites. Welcome to Trumpworld.

MSNBC's Ari Melber today noted President Trump has made 731 appointments but 141 positions in his administration remain unfilled and have only "acting" directors. One of those unfilled positions is the director of the Federal Bureau of Prisons. In January, Trump said he likes the "flexibility" of leaving positions unfilled. In other words, "acting" directors are easier for him to fire if they are less than 100% loyal to him. In addition, Trump and Attorney General William Barr slashed the bureau's budget. The prison where Epstein was housed is understaffed. Overworked guards were unable to check on him every 30 minutes as they were expected to do. So who is indirectly responsible for Epstein's suicide? Trump and Barr. Both men want Epstein's death investigated. I say to them: Be careful what you wish for.

Noting that nine Cabinet members and three-fourths of Trump's top officials have resigned or been fired in Trump's first two and a half years in office, CNN's Chris Cillizza observes that the only person who can live up to Trump's high standards is Trump. Sooner or later, Trump turns against everyone who has ever been close to him. He'll praise them one day and launch a Twitter tirade against them the next day. All I can say is: Welcome to Trumpworld.

Walsh said the only reason he voted for Trump in 2016 was because Trump was not Hillary Clinton. He regrets his vote and is hopeful a Republican challenger will take on Trump in 2020. Walsh has hosted a talk show on WIND-Chicago since March 2013. It went into national syndication in 2017. http://walshfreedom.com/radio/

Emperor Trump bragged that he had the largest Inauguration Day crowd of any President in United States history. He was lying, of course. And he even had a conspirator:

    Photographer admits editing inauguration photos
A government photographer told investigators he intentionally cropped photos of President Donald Trump's inauguration to remove empty space and make the audience look larger, according to newly released documents.

Republicans show little loyalty to the United States of America. Their loyalty is to Donald Trump, the Republican party and the NRA. The results of this poll tell me that 38% of the respondents are Republicans.

Letter from Glenn Pascall of Dana Point in today's Los Angeles Times:

"History may record these last two weeks as when it became inescapably evident that the person occupying the position of President of the United States is unwell. His attacks on American Jewish voters, his lose-lose meddling in Israeli politics and his launching of an economic war with China over trade all demonstrate that this man lives in a world defined only by his reality rather than its impact on others. Meanwhile, there are growing indications that the real word is pacing itself for his removal from office. This will only aggravate President Trump's extremes of behavior. The probable outcome is welcome, yet the journey is likely to get rougher as Trump descends into terminal narcissism, oblivious to collateral damage."
