    Jerry Naylor died December 5. He was 80. As a teenager, Naylor sang and played guitar in his brother-in-law's group, the Tommy Briggs Hillbilly Band. From 1957 to 1961, he was lead singer of the rockabilly band The Cavaliers. (With J. Frank Wilson as lead singer, they would have a #2 hit with Last Kiss in 1964. Naylor sang lead with the Crickets from 1961 to 1965, then became a regular performer on the ABC-TV musical variety series Shindig.Naylor was a DJ at southern California stations KRLA in 1960-61, KDAY in 1964-65 and country KLAC from 1973 to 1983.He had a #5 adult contemporary hit and #69 pop hit with But For Love in 1970 and was inducted into the Rockabilly Hall Of Fame in 2000

    Loney co-founded The Flamin' Groovies in 1965 and was the band's lead singer until July 1971 when he left for a solo career. They've released nine studio albums, eight live albums, five EPs and 19 singles, beginning with a 1969 remake of Huey "Piano" Smith's Rockin' Pneumonia & The Boogie Woogie Flu. Many of their singles were hits in the Berkeley-San Francisco area but none made the national charts.

    Bravo, born Jesús Melgoza, was Handler's sidekick from 2007 to 2014. He also appeared (uncredited) as a pirate at the Brethren Court meeting in Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End (2007) and owned Chuy Bravo's Taqueria, a Mexican restaurant on Santa Monica Blvd. in Los Angeles.
