Lewis hosted a music show on 710 KTBS (now KEEL), owned six record stores in Shreveport and founded the Paula, Jewel and Ronn record labels. He was a cousin of longtime Elvis Presley drummer D.J. Fontana and Elvis was one of his regular customers at the record stores. Susie Q, a 1957 hit for Dale Hawkins and a 1968 hit for Creedence Clearwater Revival, was co-written by Hawkins and Robert Chaisson for Lewis's daughter Susan. They put Lewis's name on the credits so he would get a percentage of the royalties. Lewis was inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall Of Fame in 2009.

Shreveport music legend Stan 'The Record Man' Lewis dies at 91

Dragoti was married to fashion model Cheryl Tiegs for nine years. He divorced her in 1979 because she was having an affair with a photographer. That same year, Dragoti directed Love At First Bite, a horror-comedy about Dracula moving to New York and chasing after a fashion model whom he thinks is a reincarnation of his first love. A fashion model and a fashion model -- purely coincidental.....I think.

Stan Dragoti, director of Mr. Mom, Love At First Bite, Necessary Roughness, dies at 85

Ten days ago -- Go look! -- I noted the death of Alan Johnson, who did the choreography of the stormtroopers dancing to Springtime For Hitler in the 1967 Mel Brooks movie The Producers. Now we have the death of the man who appeared in the 2001 Broadway adaptation of The Producers as Roger De Bris, the flamboyantly gay theatre director who stages the Springtime For Hitler number. Quote: "Oh dear, you're staring at my dress. I should explain. We're going to the choreographer's ball tonight and there's a prize for the best costume."

Gary Beach, Tony-winning star of Broadway’s The Producers, dies at 70
Actor also earned Tony nominations for Beauty & The Beast and La Cage Aux Folles.

Wicked Tuna has aired on the National Geographic channel since 2012 and features the commercial fishermen who fish for bluefin tuna in the North Atlantic Ocean. Duffy Fudge was first mate on one of the fishing boats -- and I imagine he had to put up with a lot of jokes about his name.

In 1973, PBS aired An American Family, 12 one-hour episodes edited from 300 hours of videotape chronicling the life of the Loud family of Santa Barbara. Viewers were shocked by Bill's adultery, his wife's drinking and their oldest son's homosexuality -- but they kept watching.

Bill Loud, patriarch of one of the first reality TV families, dies at 97
