We have to say goodbye to the comedian whose catchphrase was "Hello dere." Marty Allen & Steve Rossi appeared on dozens of tv variety shows in the 1950s-60s and performed in Las Vegas. They appeared on the February 9 1964 Ed Sullivan Show which also featured the Beatles. Allen, who had thick curly black hair, elicited squeals from the young girls in the audience when he announced, "I'm Ringo's mother."
