    Eddie Money, born Edward Mahoney, announced just two weeks ago that he had stage 4 esophageal cancer. His hits include Baby Hold On, Walk On Water, Endless Nights, Peace In Our Time, I Wanna Go Back and Take Me Home Tonight with Ronnie Spector.

    Newman won a Tony award in 1962 for her role as Martha Vail in Subways Are For Sleeping. Among her other Broadway plays: Bells Are Ringing, On The Town, The Apple Tree and Neil Simon's The Prisoner Of Second Avenue. She also appeared in several movies including Picnic and Mannequin and was a regular on Thirtysomething, One Life To Live, 100 Centre Street and That Was The Week That Was. From 1960 until his death in 2002, Newman was married to playwright/lyricist Adolphe Green.

    Ocasek died of natural causes – whatever those are. He was 70. Among the Cars' hits: Drive, Magic, Hello Again, Let's Go, Shake It Up, My Best Friend's Girl, You Might Think, Just What I Needed and Tonight She Comes.
