    On Broadway, Mandell appeared in Big River and A Christmas Carol and played the Macy's manager in the stage adaptation of the Will Ferrell movie Elf. He also co-starred in the 2009 Jim Carrey movie I Love You Philip Morris.

    Danish pianist/composer Bent Fabricius-Bjerre, known professionally as Bent Fabric, composed scores for 28 movies and recorded 13 albums. His 1962 instrumental Alley Cat was a top-ten hit in several countries including the US and won a Grammy award for best instrumental.

    The Roots formed in 1987 in Philadelphia. Malik Abdul Basit was a member until 1999. Their hits include Clones, Adrenaline, What They Do, Break You Off (with Musiq) and You Got Me (with Erykah Badu). The Roots are the house band on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

    Mack was a DJ at KWFT in Wichita Falls, Texas, 1951-60. He also hosted the Big Six Jamboree and Western Barn Dance programs on KWFT-TV. He later worked at KENS in San Antonio before joining WBAP-Fort Worth for late-nights in 1969. He left WBAP in 2002 and began hosting a daily program on XM's Open Road channel (171). Between 1952 and 1978, Mack released 39 singles, including Blue, which he wrote and recorded in 1958. LeAnn Rimes' 1996 recording of the song won Grammy awards for best country song and best country female vocal. Mack also wrote Clinging To A Saving Hand for Connie Smith and Drinking Champagne, which became a hit for three artists: Cal Smith, Jerry Lee Lewis and George Strait.

    Before becoming a stunt man and actor, Brimley worked as a bodyguard for Howard Hughes. Brimley starred in eight episodes of The Waltons and appeared in 48 movies including Jackals, Tender Mercies, Death Valley, Harry & Son, The Firm, The China Syndrome and The Electric Horseman. In the 1980s-90s, he was a commercial spokesman for the Quaker Oats Company.

    Molly Hatchet formed in 1971 in Jacksonville. Holland played lead guitar and rhythm guitar and was the last surviving original member. He left the group in 1984. Among their best-known songs: Lady Luck, Satisfied Man, Gator Country, Boogie No More, Bloody Reunion, Stone In Your Heart and Flirtin' With Disaster.

    Fontana, born Glyn Geoffrey Ellis, formed the Mindbenders in 1963. Game Of Love was written by Clint Ballard Jr., who also penned Ginger Bread, Good Timin' and You're No Good. In 1966, after Fontana left the group, they had a #2 hit with Groovy Kind Of Love. Fontana, meanwhile, recorded two solo albums and had three top-40 solo hits in the UK.

    Luedtke wrote the screenplays for Absence Of Malice, Out Of Africa and Random Hearts. In 1991, he was hired to write a rough draft for a movie adaptation of Robert James Waller's novel The Bridges Of Madison County but Warner Bros. executives rejected it and wound up using a screenplay written by Richard LaGravenese, who had also written The Fisher King.
