AS the above story notes, Republicans are filing dozens of lawsuits in an effort to rig the election in Trump's favor. Thankfully, there are judges who want a fair election.

Like father, like sons. It is obvious that the "lying gene" is dominant in the Trump family.

The Tweeter-In-Chief continues to claim – with zero evidence – that mail-in ballots allow for fraud and cheating. Now he's going a step further, predicting "violence in the streets." Of course if Biden wins the election, Trump will continue to say there was fraud and cheating, just as he explained his 2016 loss in the popular vote by falsely claiming as many as 5,000,000 illegal votes were cast.

Twitter, Facebook flag Trump post questioning Supreme Court voting decision
    Reuters, Nov 2 2020 6:03 PM

Twitter and Facebook late today both flagged a post by President Donald Trump that called a Supreme Court decision on voting in Pennsylvania "very dangerous." The Supreme Court last week allowed extended deadlines for receiving mail-in ballots in Tuesday's election in Pennsylvania and North Carolina, states pivotal to Trump's re-election chances. The decision let stand a ruling by Pennsylvania's top court allowing mail-in ballots postmarked by Election Day and received up to three days later to be counted.

"The Supreme Court decision on voting in Pennsylvania is a VERY dangerous one," Trump wrote in his post on both platforms. "It will allow rampant and unchecked cheating and will undermine our entire systems of laws. It will also induce violence in the streets. Something must be done!" Twitter added a disclaimer to Trump's tweet, saying that its content was "disputed" and "might be misleading."

The first election results are in! Wooh!

Joe Biden takes all 5 votes in tiny township that is
one of the first to announce results on Election Day

    CNN, Nov 3 2020 12:25 AM ET

Former Vice President Joe Biden took all five of the votes cast for president in Dixville Notch, a tiny New Hampshire township along the US-Canada border that is among the first places in the country to make its presidential preference known. The ballots were cast in the minutes after midnight, becoming some of the first cast and counted on Election Day. By tradition, all eligible voters gather in the storied "Ballot Room" at The Balsams resort in Dixville Notch to cast their secret ballots once polls open at midnight. Once every ballot is cast, votes are tallied and results announced – hours before anywhere else.

Today is election day. More than 100,000,000 Americans voted early. In at least seven states, the number of votes cast has already exceeded the total in the 2016 Presidential election. And, of course, Republicans are still filing lawsuits in an effort to get Democratic votes thrown out.

Trump today told Fox & Friends that Democrats are "horrible people." That's funny, Donald. Democrats say the same thing about you. By the way, Trump was a registered Democrat from 2001 to 2009.

With projected wins in Tennessee and West Virginia, Trump now has 42 electoral votes. Biden has 30. Right now, with 50% of the vote in, Biden is leading Trump by 10.2 points in Ohio. CNN's John King says if Biden wins Ohio, Trump will no longer have a path to 270 electoral votes. No Republican has ever lost Ohio and won the Presidency.
