In an essay for NBC News, author and George Mason University professor Bill Schneider theorizes that Trump's attacks on Democrats and socialism may backfire.

Trump is turning 2020 into a referendum on AOC and socialism. That's good news for Democrats.
Republicans who think Medicare For All, taxing the rich and a Green New Deal are "dead on arrival" might be in for a surprise.

Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad is 93. Queen Elizabeth II is 92. Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi is 92. Kuwaiti Emir Sabah Al-Sabah is 89. And Rosie O'Donnell thinks 76-year-old Joe Biden is "too old" to run for President? Ageism! Ageism! For shame!

Rosie O'Donnell says Biden is 'too old to run.' She's not the only liberal saying 'no' to Joe.

Robert Francis "Beto" O'Rourke is officially a Presidential candidate. Beto is the Spanish nickname for "Roberto." When O'Rourke was a child, his parents called him Beto to distinguish him from his grandfather, Robert Williams. The nickname stuck.

Pay parity, gender equality and equal treatment for everyone who works for Sanders' campaign -- what a concept! But now that they're unionized, will they go on strike, demanding shorter hours and higher wages?

Because Republicans know there are few positive things that can be said about Donald Trump, their campaign strategy is: "Bash Democrats." With the Presidential election 20 months away, Trump and the Republicans have already started attacking Democrats as "socialists" who want "crime" and "open borders." A former Notre Dame professor is troubled today by the Republicans' "use of stereotypes to wound potential opponents."
