The Trump campaign's dirty tricks just keep getting dirtier 'n' dirtier.

FiveThirtyEight.com's latest average of Presidential polls shows Biden leading Trump in Florida, 48.8% to 46.4%. The Economist has Biden leading Trump 51.5% to 48.5% and gives Biden a 74% chance of winning the state.

Republicans crash Florida early vote, eating into Democrats’ lead
    Politico, Oct 24 2020 5:13 PM

Florida Republicans are pouring out of the trenches. After weeks of Democrats outvoting them by mail, Republican voters stormed early voting precincts in person this week, taking large bites out of their opponents' historic lead in pre-Election Day ballots. The Democratic advantage was still huge as of this morning: 387,000 ballots. But that’s a 21% reduction from three days prior. The election is in ten days.

Biden has a lot of support from young people, elderly people, blacks, Latinos, Native Americans, suburban women and the LGBTQ community. Trump has the support of non-college-educated white men. Draw your own conclusions.

Many Republican politicians are starting to distance themselves from Trump – and now, even Trump's BFF Vladimir Putin is taking issue with Trump! Wooh!

Putin rejects Donald Trump's criticism of Biden family business
    Reuters, Oct 25 2020 11:20 AM

Russian President Vladimir Putin said today that he saw nothing criminal in Hunter Biden’s past business ties with Ukraine or Russia, marking out his disagreement with one of Donald Trump's attack lines in the US Presidential election. Putin was responding to comments made by Trump during televised debates with Democratic challenger Joe Biden ahead of the November 3 election. Trump, who is trailing in opinion polls, has used the debates to make accusations that Biden and his son Hunter engaged in unethical practices in Ukraine. No evidence has been verified to support the allegations and Joe Biden has called them false and discredited.

This story can not be good news for our racist, bigoted, white nationalist President who refuses to denounce white supremacist groups.

As long as we have the 18th-century relic known as the Electoral College, which can award the Presidency to a losing candidate – and has done so five times – there is no guarantee that the candidate with the most votes will become President. However, with only eight more voting days left, it is looking increasing likely that Joe Biden will become our nation's 46th President.

More than 67,000,000 Americans have already voted. These unions should have announced their endorsement several weeks ago. Oh well.

    Reuters, Oct 27 2020 12:35 PM

The two largest US flight attendant unions endorsed Democratic candidate Joe Biden today ahead of the Presidential election next week. The unions have been pressing Congress and Republican President Donald Trump to back $25 billion in additional payroll assistance to prevent 32,000 airline furloughs. The Association of Professional Flight Attendants, representing the 27,000 American Airlines flight attendants, and the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA that represents about 50,000 workers at 20 airlines, said in separate statements they are endorsing Biden.

These former US attorneys want the Department of Justice to go back to being "impartial" instead of carrying out Donald Trump's bidding. Step one: Electing Joe Biden and not giving Trump a second term.
