During the 2016 Presidential race, Russian agents, acting under orders from Vladimir Putin, worked to ensure a Trump victory. Russians created hundreds of fake accounts on Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites. Russians spread anti-Clinton, pro-Trump propaganda and fake news stories and tried to stir up racial discord and undermine our democracy. Russians spent $100,000 on ads promoting Trump and denigrating Clinton. Russian hackers stole 19,000 of Clinton's emails and 60,000 of campaign chairman John Podesta's emails and released them to the public via DCLeaks, WikiLeaks and Guccifer. US intelligence agencies know Russians have already begun making plans to help Trump win re-election in 2020. But things are different in Trumpworld, where the Ignoramus-In-Chief calls Russian meddling a "hoax" and declares, "Putin said he didn't meddle and I believe him."

CNN just reported the results of an April 25-28 CNN/SSRS poll of voters' preferences in head-to-head matchups between Trump and each of the top six Democratic Presidential candidates: Sanders beats Trump 50% to 44%, Biden beats Trump 51% to 45%, Buttigieg beats Trump 47% to 44%, Harris beats Trump 49% to 45% and O'Rourke beats Trump 52% to 42%. The poll shows Trump beating only one candidate: Elizabeth Warren, by a margin of 48% to 47%. In none of those six matchups would Trump win a majority of votes.

"I'll take Insults for $800, Alex." "All right, here is your clue: 'They call people by childish, insulting names.'" "Who are schoolyard bullies and Donald Trump?" "Correct, for $800."

Democrats are expected to hold a "multiple-ballot convention" next year in Milwaukee. After reading this story five times, I think I'm finally starting to understand the new rules. Sort of.

Today at a rally in Philadelphia, Biden declared, "If the American people want a President to add to our division, to lead with a clenched fist, closed hand and a hard heart, to demonize the opponents and spew hatred, they don't need me. They already have a President who does just that. I am running to offer our country a different path."
