Sirius Lifetime membership question:

Hey, I just found this forum and have a question. I purchased a lifetime Sirius membership back before Stern switched over, probably in 2005. Sirius allow 3 transfers of the service and I have never had one. I just purchased a new 2017 Toyota Highlander and it only has an XM radio in the dash. Will SiriusXM let me transfer my Sirius lifetime membership to the "XM" radio? Is it all one and the same now? Thanks

They are not the same.

I have heard of one time exceptions being made. It is about finding the right service rep to handle the switch.
