    Dazed and Confused

I currently have a trial subscription with SiriusXM and plan to formally sign up when the trial ends. A couple of months ago I clearly recall seeing an XM service option where your activated car could act as a WIFI hot spot, so that in a remote area one could get internet service for a laptop and/or smartphone. My wife and I have this problem when vacationing in remote Minnesota. Very spotty tower coverage resulting in glacial internet speed and dropped cell phone calls – when you are able to place a call. I even recall seeing a price for this available option. It was in the $30’s per month. When I talked to XM about this today the nice ladies did not know anything about this service. Am I imagining this? If it no longer exists, what happened?

    Yes, you are imagining this.

Internet service requires 2 way data transfer. Sirius XM is 1 way.

Cars now a days have hotspot options but, it doesn't have anything to do with SiriusXM.
