Sounds like the wifey is moving him toward retirement OR maybe he could sign a deal with Pandora to do podcasts on his own time

Foster Kittens? Really? The King of All Media is going to stay home and help raise foster kittens??? I would think he would pay SiriusXM to keep him on for a few more years just so he has some excuse to get the heck out of the house for a few hours a day.

"Sorry honey, I'd really like to stay here at home and help you with all these kittens but you know, I have obligations at the station. I have to go do the show and then it'll probably be another few hours taping some promo's an I have a mtg with sales and a new prospective client that will probably last until 5...then you know...traffic and all...It'll probably be late when I get home.....why don't you call your mother or one of your friends to come help with the kittens?"

If the tracking stock ends up trading at a discount, I wonder if Sirius would consider doing buybacks of the tracker when Sirius' own float gets too low for buybacks? My guess is they will do dividends instead, but it does open up an option. The tracker will be pure SiriusXM

Nice call, Waldo! You think we test the 3.87-3.93 area before the Fed decision. Very oversold at this point.

yeah, i think 3.96 holds until fed day, with one caveat. If we test the 32/33 area on oil before fed day we will get another leg down for the market. Oil is over sold too so we should take a breather. Oil is really punishing high yield.

Still half way mia in brazil. Interwebs stink outside the cities.

I should add, i am still short. So if 3.96 falls pre HS news we have some issues if he leaves and my position would be OK with that. If that s the case, there will be a bounce to play followed by a retest. Right now, with 3.96 holding, worst case I see is 3.65/3.66. But that can change if we get pushed down below 3.96 coupled with him leaving.

Lots of tax harvesting going on. Taking the winners and losers off the table. I bet we see buying 2-3 days before the EOY. Pick up the beaten down stocks.

2nd bond fund in as many days gated redemptions on Friday evening. 'only' a Couple billion, still might cause a bit of turmoil come Monday. More on the bond side, but it will bleed over to the equity side at some point.
