    SWEEEEEEET!

Comcast Corp. , which has entered into talks with the owners of Universal Studios Japan about buying a majority stake, according to people familiar with the matter. An agreement could be struck as soon as this week, one of these people said.

Let's play the valuation game -

Charter trading close to 11 times EBITDA buys Time Warner Cable trading at about 9.5 times EBITDA. Cablevision sells itself at about 10 times EBITDA to Altice.

Comcast has content assets that rival Disney (which trades at about 12.5 times EBITDA) and Cable assets that are larger and better run than Charter TWC or Cablevision. But Comcast trades at about 7.5 times EBITDA????

    I smell a $100 Comcast stock in 2-3 years.

Big scoop from @andrewrsorkin on $CVC. Deal expected tomorrow. Quite a multiple at almost 10x. All cash surprising given Dolan's tax bill.

    Edit (8:29:15 am):

FED: in the 'they should, but they won't' camp. Its split about 50/50 if they will, so someone will be scrambling to close out if they are wrong [volatile]. Ignore the knee jerk reaction. I am still positioned for further weakness in EM FX, all house money. Translation: the dollar goes up if they raise rates and if they don't raise you will have initial weakness and then a continued move up in the dollar ~ a week or so later. Due to the even split I am putting a minor hedge on.
