Next 2 weeks will be interesting leading up to CC. Malone in Sun Valley today...wonder if there are any comments of substance leaking out causing a reversal? I also think it is very strange that new BB has not been announced. I know mgmt has repeatedly declined entertaining any thoughts about a dividend, but now that the sharecount is approaching 5B you could argue for a .10c Q dividend for the same 2B per year they are using on BBs. A 10% dividend yield which the stock price could grow down over time.

I think this is going to be an interesting earnings season in general. With China and Greece falling apart, it's going to be interesting to see what the CEO's say during their calls.

MadEra...not sure about how i feel about a possible divy. On one hand i would gladly take one...on the other im fine without one. I am more concerned with getting a .10% pop either going into the next few weeks or getting one based on the actually cc results. At current level a .10% increase puts us around the 4.07 level which at this point i would prob be more than happy to sell some at...but i was really hoping we would be at 3.85 level before getting a .10% pop...putting us closer to 4.23 conservatively with good cc numbers. fingers crossed!

John Malone just bought a 9.4 acre estate on Jupiter Island Florida. The estate has 506 ft. of Atlantic Ocean Frontage. The house has a glass-encased room built on a turntable that rotates 360 degrees at the push of a button. Poor John

    No dividend.

    None.

    Not happening.
Help me understand how a reinvestable dividend negatively impacts LMCAs ability to borrow against holdings.

Nobody matters except LMCA. Nobody. No case can be made for a 10 cents per quarter div because of this.
I guess I'm just looking for reasons then why no BB announcement has been made. They are either acquiring something or have other plans for that COH?
