Comcast merger implodes which is great for Malone. Sirius more or less hits just shy of a home run... I say we see $4 by no later than next week and it will stay with here. I think the drop in the sp is mostly selling on the news. There is nothing to warrant a decline, especially a drastic one to $2.75. The couple of negatives are certainly completely offset by the positives. I bought back 40k shares that I sold at $3.96 at 3.86 & 3.87.

GM Canada expands Ontario R&D centre to focus on 'connected car'
GM Canada is hiring an additional 100 software and controls engineers for its Canadian Engineering Centre in Oshawa, Ont., which will have a new focus on the "connected car" and green technologies.GM Canada president Steve Carlisle announced the expansion of the engineering centre Tuesday in Oshawa.

"We are making this investment because we see an opportunity to take advantage of a wealth of talent in mobile technologies, software and advanced automotive engineering available in Canada's leading universities and other partner organizations," Carlisle said in a news release.

With the Comcast - TWC deal being withdrawn, I expect Charter with Liberty to attempt another deal for TWC. This deal will probably being another low ball, (no premium) offer from Liberty for the remaining outstanding Sirius shares.
The cable merger environment isn't favorable under the current FCC/DOJ. I don't see anything happening until Obama is gone. The FCC wants competition which is the only reason why they are letting AT&T to buy DirecTV. You are talking 27+ million video subs when they merge. Let the games begin.
The cable companies are better off trying to buy T-Mobile or Sprint. That's where I think the FCC/DOJ want the cable companies. I can't believe T-Mobile hasn't been bought out by a cable company.
EDIT: I think Dish Network should buy T-Mobile. T-Mobile needs spectrum very badly and Dish Network has a huge spectrum portfolio. The FCC is a little irritated with Dish after the spectrum auction so it could be a problem if they tried.

Shout out to my good friend P.J. Gourley. He worked very hard on his dream to become a children's author. For those of you that don't know, PJ has been working very hard on his children's books and they are now available on Amazon.com. If you have any kids or grandkids, these are great books. I have a few copies and I sent 2 to my nephews.
