how did i know that headline would get you to comment lol?? oh yeah cuz its pure speculation thats right :P but thats not why i posted it.

I posted it primarily because the author was once of siri's biggest basher/naysayer....warms my heart to finally see him and the cramers of the world do a 180 on this company. I agree with you in that apple prob will not be knocking on our door soon...but i think he does raise some valid points as to why siri may be getting looked at a little more closely these days.

SiriusXM today announced first quarter 2015 operating and financial results, including record first quarter revenue of $1.08 billion, up 8% versus the first quarter of 2014.

SiriusXM added 431 thousand net new subscribers in the first quarter, a 61% increase from the 267 thousand net new subscribers added in the first quarter of 2014. Self-pay net subscriber additions were 394 thousand in the first quarter of 2015 compared to 173 thousand in the first quarter of 2014. Marking the strongest first quarter for self-pay subscriber growth since 2008.

There were a few misses on estimates. Sirius still gets slaughtered when it beats, so I can only imagine the train wreck that follows this "calamity"!
Combined with Ford missing estimates and the reaction is Sirius is on its way out... Already down 1.13% pre pre market. Hopefully intelligence will ultimately prevail. The quarter seriously looks great!

Not sure we will crash and burn....that .o2 will prob bring in some negative headlines tho. increased guidance for 2015 may save us a bit. seems to me like they wanted to send a mixed message. i dunno.

Look at the tax line for the 2013 compared to 2014 why the big increase revenue went up by 74m and taxes increased by 62m WTF
