You mean most discussion boards turn into discussions? Forums, communities, discussion boards... There are lots of names for these things but the bottom line is, they are for ... Discussions. So, it shouldn't be a suprise to you when a board breaks out in ... Discussion.

I certainly don't discourage it. I appreciate all angles and encourage debate. I would rather it go without it getting so heated but, what can I do. No censorship.

I assume by "you guys" you mean some of the regulars here but, I can assure you, not me (or spencer). I welcome all -- even you.

I don't believe most people who read message boards post messages. Demian told me John Tinker from Maxim used to read my Comcast posts on Sat Radio Playground and Tuna Amobi from S&P stayed on the phone to listen to my half hour call to Demian on his show after he was a guest. At least that is what Demian told me. Doesn't really matter to me if it was true, since I still believe that there are very smart people out there reading for information. Unfortunately most do not post. I always hope more will. I do try to search the internet for good posts. And they are hard to come by.

I also don't consider my research work. It's one of my hobbies, just like weightlifting, and I like posting information. I am a media industry news addict. I love reading the industry publications and Wall Street analyst reports. And posting helps me work out my investing ideas. Almost like thinking out loud which my wife always does to me! LOL! Just today I learned a lot about Live Nation (not all great) just by posting this morning. It forced me to go back and listen to their earnings calls.

Anyway have fun with your board. I have way overstayed my welcome here. Take care.

It's sad to see Muscle go. He has such a clear understanding of the industry and Sirius XM. I can't believe that a simple question caused so much drama. The hypocrisy is unbelievable. The very same people who REQUIRE OTHERS to answer similar questions when they post can't even muster a basic financial response. I don't know if it's because they don't understand the question or what? What we do know is they aren't at a loss for words. The question muscle asked was a legitimate and fair question.

"What are Faulkner's price targets based on? FCF or EBITDA? Forward or historical? I would like to know."

Also, for those pointing fingers about ignoring people but still responding... The board doesn't ignore other people responding to and quoting the person that you ignored. People who are ignored but are quoted by others still show up.

Uhh... I answered that question Muscle posed a lonnnng time ago. He directly asked me and I explained what I used and the boundaries top and bottom.

He then proceeded to repeatedly post on various articles that I was stupid and that I need to use FCF/Share and that nobody uses EV/EBITDA and I should listen to Jessica Cohen and $5 and blah blah I have 20 years experience blah blah I have more money than you I bet... etc etc.

Done the same completely unprovoked to others in the past.

Tough guy doesn't have to run...

    Sorry you are upset, Midas.

    Good for You?

SF, I'd like to offer a quick thanks for your detailed and well thought out opinions. I for one don't have the patience to ever offer my thoughts or positions in such a way.
