up 1.5% on low volume with a gap and the options expiration around the corner....... I can't get behind this move. I'm gonna short it.


EDit: i think the gap going unfilled today was by design and it will be the obstacle that keeps us far away from the 3.50 strike tomorrow.

gap up on no news?? Maybe i need more coffee to help me figure out why.

This was another boring day for Sirius XM investors. This was a huge opportunity for buyers to come in and push this thing to $4.85. Less than 8 trading days to go for Faulner's prediction to happen. Losing faith here.

Mr. F, I have always respected your remarks over the years, but I hope your not loosing it with that $4.85 by Jan. ( what year are you referring to ? )

Actually not boring at all.....been killing it the last few days trading in and around. ya know who its really boring for.....those sitting on the sidelines waiting for 2.75 such as yourself st fluke.

Wolf... I'm confused how you managed to get 1000 at $3.50. I see the 8:00 trade, but bid / ask was $3.42 / $3.43 at that time so a properly filled order would have bought ask $3.43.

There were also ask quantities at $3.44, $3.45, $3.46, $3.47, $3.48, $3.49.... it circumvented all those and went for only your 1000 lot out of all the ask lots at $3.50?

I see these out of range trades here and there but I have never had anyone claim that they manually took an offer at that point. It wouldn't make sense for a market maker to offer $3.50 and if it hit the ladder it should have been picked up by the hundreds of thousands of shares offered at lower pricing. Did you just have a 1000 lot at $3.50 for sale and by blind luck yours was zeroed in on and taken and all others ignored?

The MM's play games in the morning. I'm up and trading at 7:00est and watch it every day. Today they threw up a 1000 share bid @ 3.50 and I jumped on it to test them, it executed. Can't say why they did it. I usually wouldn't post screen shots to prove my trades but this one was worthy.
