Wait for the 14th I think Slapshot for all the data to come in. Most of them report on the last day of the 45 day window. I am not sure if data gets out immediately or if one has to wait for the 15th.

DM I misread your comment RE: high $4's. Read it as $4. My upper end of range is $4.85 for Jan which is a sell target (like $4.25 was last year). I'm looking for recent highs at some point soon here... so I'm generally of the opposite opinion of Midas and feel it will go the other way from this point and move up about 50 cents instead of down 70 cents. If I had to nail down an exact number I would say $3.85 on the more conservative side.

It's important to note that my targets for Jan 2014 and Jan 2015 for top end sell points are only 14% apart. Obviously I did not expect much from this year as far as SIRI's valuation especially when one considers that the company has bought back whatever percent of shares... thus valuation for the year is essentially flat. 2015 could see the stock approach top end valuations again. $5.75 for Jan 2016, perhaps. The best RVR play is a 3/4 or 3/4.50 call spread, in my opinion, at this point... but that is gambling short term. Any BIG market correction (I don't see one coming... there are no reasons for one here or on the horizon) could pull SIRI at any time in 2015 to 2.40 area. 3/X spread gives no protection under 3.... that's the price you pay for exceptional potential returns with options though.

Midas is correct that back as far as February 2011 I mentioned an approximate $5 sell target for January 2015, and I'm certainly comfortable with maintaining that as close enough. Since the stock is quite distant from that point, I'm of the opinion that it's a very strong buy here. Glad SIRI / LMCA are taking advantage of it.

It will be 2017 before SIRI finds a strong buy point near $5 per share, assuming things progress as they have been. Again, longer it stays down the better things project out later due to the buyback.
