The reason we are all cautious, of course is what has transpired the last 9 months that has resulted in a lack of trust in "management". No doubt, before the October takedown this stock would have reacted much more aggressively to this type of news.

EDIT: The shorts aren't scared. Why would they be....Libertys got their back.

But you're right. We can't get a decent move up to save our lives.

Hopefully just a little "back & fill" and not a "fill & f@ck you"
    I reluctantly predict we close @ 3.37.

Ditto. My 3.39 re-buy never filled. Maybe tomorrow. Days like this are usually easy money.

Hey guys, haven't done a ton of posting lately, just be lurking around keeping up with all your great trades - congratulations to everyone here.

Anyway, attached are my Q2 2014 estimates. It looks to me that net subscriber additions start to "normalize" again this quarter. In Q2 2013, US car sales totaled 4.1M and 715k net subs were added. In Q2 2014, US car sales totaled 4.5M and I thinking that there will be 500k net subs added. I'm hoping I am being conservative on this estimate.

Be on the lookout for another one-time charge due to the Liberty contract that closed on 4/25. The one-time charge in Q1 was 27M which represented the change in the value of the contract at the time. The one-time charge in Q2 is about $23M which is the difference between the $3.6603 contract price and the closing price on 4/25 of $3.12. So the total loss to SIRI on the contract was $50M. FYI - I may be off some as the share price traded between 3.18 and 3.08 on 4/25.

One other point, for the first time in awhile I am looking for the diluted average weighted shares of common stock to dip below the 6B mark.

    Any thoughts?

Thank you Steiny for giving us all a chance to view your estimates. I really appreciate it!!

I noted your eps at .020... Are there any reasonable scenarios that might get us to .03 EPS for Q2?

EDIT: Bottom line, nothing else matters as long as LMCA treats us like a redheaded step child. When they want a stock to move it moves. Just look at the CHTR chart and what has happened to CHTR since Liberty increased its stake in the $128 range just 2 months ago.

They love CHTR........SIRI, not so much, at least not yet.
Hey cool, I'm thinking about trading/posting real time again, but in the other forum thread of course, cause not SIRI. But anyway, just poking around and saw you had this nice setup. Great FF pattern! Did you get in somewhere other than the BP? Always looking to learn.
