Ultimately, I don't think MaloneCo end game is to have us buy back a boat load of shares. Pulling us in to MaloneCo is what he wants and then spinning us out after a few years. He will continue to have SIRI buy back at low levels but I don't think it will be in huge #s. Just enough to show us they EDIT: are "looking out" for all other shareholder interests.....a smokescreen. He wants SIRI for its FCF to complete his BIG picture plans whatever they are. SIRI shareholders will benefit as a result of MaloneCo benefiting but that is not his priority. At this point I would rather get pulled into MaloneCo and be a direct part of the plan rather than constantly being blindsided by their actions or inactions. A merge swap will effectively reverse split SIRI and reduce the float. This is another reason I don't think MaloneCo wants to buy back at large levels going forward or is too concerned about the huge float as it will be reduced substantially on the merge.

    Denco,

The way these guys are pushing numbers around the balance sheet is genius. They posted 6 cents a share last year and hid 10 or more in the balance sheet. We purchased Agero / 2,300,000,000 share buy backs / 350,000,000 debt pay back. The total liabilities barely moved. Almost the same as it was 2011 year end. With the free cash flow (profits) from this year they will barely touch the LOC to do the 1.7 billion in share buybacks except if they want to purchase them really quickly or pay off more debt. At these prices that will put Liberty in excess of over 61%. This gives Malone the ability to get his money back and then some once they let the money fall through the balance sheet and allow the stock price to rise. Some one who is a CPA will have to explain exactly what they are doing. I agree they will spin us off but not until Malone sells back Shares at a very nice profit.

3.07? Seriously? So is there any logical reason whatsoever to justify the lack of any kind of positive sp movement or is Sirius just a down right pos company run by pos people. Unbelievable.

    We look like f'n fools.

Paying Liberty 3.66 a share while we sit @ 3.08 after getting slammed with a charge for Liberty changing their mind about buying us?

There are lot of questions that need to be asked at the Shareholder Meeting and everyone of them should start with, "WHAT THE FCK?!"

    LMCA +2.26%

    SIRI -1.60%

Malone wants Sirius to buy back as cheap as possible so there is more money to buy shares back from him later and Liberty"'s ownership gets driven higher before the sell back.
