Aquiring signal message in Jeep Liberty

Since Monday the 4th of October I have no audio working. I tune to a channel see the name of the station and then it just disappears and then It just says Acquiring signal ,but never does. Has anyone experienced this problem? I called Sirius and they sent the signal or refresh a few times with no help.. Can anyone help? This is a 2011 Jeep Liberty factory installed radio. Thanks

Sounds like the antenna wire or the antenna's connection point has gone bad. Its either that or your car is sitting in a garage with no clear view of the sky.

My advice? Try plugging a new antenna into the Sirius tuner.

You'll need to find the SiriusXM tuner which is likely behind one of the rear inside quarter covers. My guess is right hand side. It might be in your manual, if not, give your local dealer a call. Its probably just matter of pull off the rear quarter cover.
