    Ive never experienced it myself but my dad once flipped a quad and broke his ribs, elbow, shoulder, and lacerated his spleen and barely complained -- 5 years later he had a kidney stone and passed out from the pain.
    Charles, I can only simpathize as I too have experienced "stones" on two occasions, each presenting pain I never wish to experience again. And the agony was only prolonged as I anxiously anticipated the promised "passing" as witnessed by capture in a strainer................. no matter how hard I wished and tried, I never, ever, saw evidence, and had to settle for comfort only when the pain subsided.... Let's hope your dear bride can soon feel that welcome relief from the agony.
