    From USA TODAY, December 18:

"One 'A' share of Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway will set you back about $300,000. The conglomerate's most expensive share class reached that milestone this morning for the first time. It has outperformed the S&P 500 this year, rising more than 22% versus the index's 20% gain. It was up more than 1% in trading on Monday."

Wayne Duggan thinks the Disney-Fox deal and Disney's new streaming services will hurt, not help, the company. This is from US News & World Report:

Expect Disney earnings to take a big hit

The new Star Wars film has made more than $820,000,000 in two weeks and a few critics are calling it a flop because it isn't doing as well as the previous Star Wars film. Hey, give it time! This is from The Motley Fool:

Will The Last Jedi sink Disney stock?
Luke Skywalker's return to the big screen isn't beating ticket sales from the previous chapter in the trilogy. Should investors worry?

Rap singer Curtis Jackson III calls himself 50 Cent. Maybe we should start calling him 50 Bitcoin.

50 Cent rakes in millions, thanks to bitcoin
    TMZ, Jan 23 2018 11:41 AM

50 Cent ´╗┐took a chance on bitcoin years before anyone knew what cryptocurrency even was -- and it's paid off more than 7 million times over. Rewind to 2014 and 50's album Animal Ambition, when the rapper became the first to accept bitcoin -- which was then valued at around $662/bitcoin -- as payment for his work. We're told customers could get a copy of the album for just a fraction of a whole bitcoin.

Animal Ambition pulled in about 700 bitcoin in sales -- more than $400,000. We're told the cryptocurrency sat dormant in his account for years. Fast-forward to today -- when bitcoin's value has fluctuated between $10,000 and $12,000 per coin. Turns out 50 is a money genius, sitting on anywhere between $7 million and $8.5 million.
