Does the chart only deal with closing prices, or the daily highs/lows?

I have seen those charts before, but never really knew how to read them.

    Daily Highs/Lows

I believe the system was developed by Charles Dow and Ed Jones (yes...Dow-Jones) I haven't read the book in a decade, so I'm a little rusty on the history.

It doesn't really track prices though..it tracks supply and demand.

    GS new purchase

Can someone comment on the new Goldman Sachs purchase of 814,465 shares which brings their total to 4,220,646 shares? What kind of scam are they trying to pull? Their analysts call a 1.00 price target and than they add more shares. WTF.. Cramers's comments today to hold off on buying SIRI also fall along the same modus operandi and it's clear they want to hold the price down while they accumulate.

    Brandon,

My first post here. I purchased SIRI today at .9685 and so in your opinion what do you see to be the short term outlook within the next week or two? Do you think it might rebound back up to the 1.30's like it has been for the past several weeks?

I'm totally new to trading and today was my very first purchase so I'm hoping for a move up tomorrow.

    Spin

You read the charts correctly, you sold right, and I think you bought back in right as well.

One thing I noticed though is that no matter what anyone does or says right now, the boards and the press are spinning things to focus on the negative. Your sale was mentioned on the Yahoo boards as an indication that even the biggest supporters have capitulated at this point.

Because of your involvement in SiriusBuzz, you were used by the shorts just as much as Mel's statements were. I'm not faulting you but just realize all of us longs, including you, Tyler, myself, and even Mel are in the same boat. The shorts have the bullhorn until some results show up or the financing hurdle is cleared. They will take anything they can and spin it to their favor. It's no different than the spin the politicians are putting on everything the other side says or does right now. The loudest voice wins.

When you said on the radio broadcast you'd placed your order to trigger below 1.25, someone could assume that some of your listeners did the same. If someone was actively looking for stock, and they were listening to the show, you told them where to find it.

I do appreciate all of your efforts on this site. If the stock was up, I think you'd be getting a lot more people volunteering to send you a little something to support the site. Hopefully that day will come soon!

    Smallcap.

I would not trade Sirius. Siri is something you can buy now, stick it a drawer and forget about it. It's going to take time now.
