Anything is possible. Prob a "stop gap" measure, or nothing today but a fairly soon resolution after the new year. I think the markets know something has got to give and will not drag it down too much but ya never know .

Personally I think a law that makes us spend no more than we take in is a good thing and I welcome it, Tough today, long run the only way to function. We must cut spending to balance our revenue, and we can't raise enough revenue to cover our spending, so its spending congress, get it together!

So have we settled into a new range this morning? I hope not. The pre-market is bouncing between our resistance and support levels on the high/low chart. We need some good news.

I have a feeling that those futures are a major warning shot for the next few days

Ive checked my portfolio 3 times today, each time SIRI was the only unchanged stock. Its lulling me into thinking its not going to move at all today. Im sure that means there will be some wacky slide that recovers right before the close or a huge run that will ultimately give back all of its gains right before the bell. Just when I think nothing will happen, it scares the shit out of me.
