I just want to say thank you to you all again. I hope we can feed off the momentum of the last few days and build this forum back even stronger. For all of you lurkers out there, don't be afraid to say hello!

Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go get some sleep

Rise and Shine, its trading time. Does anyone think that we will close over $3 today?

just want to keep my posts equal in the two forums I'm visiting.
Regarding a discussion of what happens to SiriusXM stock and the market overall if we go over the cliff:
I can not believe what Obama did yesterday! Any house Republican in a district that didn't vote for Obama cannot now support a compromise with Obama. I think Obama and the Democrats want to go over the cliff. If I was in leadership I would insist we go over the cliff. Just think of the political capital they will earn when in February they pass a bill which raises everyone's take home pay on the paychecks!
I think the market figured this out which is why their isn't going to be a massive drop if we go over the cliff. It'll drop just not massive because everyone knows they'll figure it out in January, make themselves look good and get pats on the back from everyone. Remember they only need about 20 house Republicans to come over to the Democrats side in January.
The only thing that could go wrong is if the House Republicans stand up to the Democrats and say 'HELL NO' we are not raising the debt ceiling; didn't you Democrats realize this is payback for going over the fiscal cliff - its just politics, didn't think we do it, well we did - 'now the USA will live within it's means'. In that case I'll be dancing in happiness that our government will finally be spending only the dollars it takes in. After the initial shock of many months - maybe a year the economy will take off like a rocket. Heck if that happens I'll go out and buy new equipment so I've worked out the learning curve before the rush of surveys comes.

Good morning guys!!! Damn work keeps getting in my way so I can't post to often. Yesterday I thought we should be in the 2.90-2.91 range at close. I was wrong!!! So I am going for my next wrong prediction. We trade between 2.98-2.94 and we close at 2.95. Lets see what we get. The chart data now is so far back it is hard for me to work. Good luck!!

GM all... so do we break the $3 mark today? While I have nothing to back this up, my suspicions say we don't do it today.
