If I'm remembering right we are currently paying a royalty rate around 8% and Sound Exchange wants 13%. I'm expecting it to be somewhere in between
Thanks for the link SXM.....The one item I found interesting is "That body has to announce its rates for Sirius before the fourteenth of December".....but the article doesn't mention the deadline details.....
From catching up on all the posts in this forum, it doesn't appear that an announcement was made yet and today is the 14th
Note: my understanding is that we're supposed to pay a percentage of all revenues - I hope that I'm wrong.
Regarding the royalty rates - what irritates the hell out of me is that we're not ONLY a jukebox - there is a tremendous amount of content that is NOT music.
More to the point, there are a LOT of folks that don't ever listen to the music. While I do listen to the music channels more these days - I was one of those people. There were a few years that I ONLY listened to the talk stations.
Why should they pay royalties on all revenues? I just don't get it.
Anyone else that uses anything other than TD Ameritrade have any issues with out of order time and sales prints? I hate when they start doing this funny stuff because it makes it harder to analyze what "really" is going on....

The EMA chart is putting up Caution Flags. I just notified Premium members, but figured I would let you all know as well

Sort of nice seeing the owners around in the forum participating in the effort.
I believe the yellow boxes are the cautions. If there were red boxes I believe they would be warnings
