Remote Control question

I bought a remote control for my stratus radio. Everything seems to work but the ability to change my pre-set channels. There apears to be buttons but nothing happens when pressed. any suggestions?

What kind of remote? I recently got a stratus 6, and my remote from a Sirius stiletto100 works with it. The number buttons are the presets Easier with the status than the stiletto. However, I cannot direct tune (enter the staion numbers) from the remote.
