I, the federal government, hereby MANDATE BY FORCE OF LAW, the following.
Thou shall purchase health insurance or be penalized
Thou shall supply birth control to your employees regardless of religous beliefs (doh - that one might lose votes...)
Thou shall pay a minimum of 30% of your earnings to the federal government should you earn in excess of $1,000,000 of income.
Thou shall only use energy efficient light bulbs regardless of the fact that you are paying for the electricity and the light bulbs contain Mercury (a toxic substance).

Obama to Double Down on Marxism
"President Obama will use his election-year State of the Union address on Tuesday to argue that it is government’s role to promote a prosperous and equitable society, drawing a stark contrast between the parties in a time of deep economic uncertainty.
“…an America where everybody gets a fair shot, everyone does their fair share and everybody plays by the same set of rules.”"
How is the role of government to promote an “equitable” society when government action in society guarantees inequality by virtue of favoring one group over the other…because that is the only method they can use?
Who defines “fair”? Obama? Eric Holder? Some appointed bureaucrat or czar?
I have yet to hear the moral case made for the “rich” paying “their fair share” when they already pay the lion’s share of taxes. I have only the implication that the reason is “because they have more” and that is no rationale for “fairness”.
Obama is out to sell the safety and security of a Marxist state to his base, a “from each according to his ability to each according to his need” vision of the future where an overweening government is set to reap the profits of private enterprise and redistribute to those that it favors. I say “those that it favors” because it isn’t the poor or downtrodden that are his only target – the environmental lobby, the “green” energy sector and his wealthiest corporate friends (think Jeffrey Immelt’s GE and Goldman Sachs) are all potential beneficiaries.
This guy is less a populist and far more a corporatist/crony capitalist – as Rick Perry put it – a venture socialist.

While the four remaining GOP presidential candidates debated once again in Arizona Wednesday night, Jon Stewart took a look at how Republican fear-mongering about Barack Obama in 2008 stacks up to what they're now saying will happen if he gets re-elected in 2012.
As "The Daily Show" proved nightly in 2008, the GOP's use of demonizing, "Socialist Islamic Dictator" rhetoric when discussing then-candidate Obama implied that he was all that stood between America and catastrophe. Now that his first term is almost over, how did all those scary premonitions pan out?
To those who said Obama was a Socialist, Stewart admitted that he did in fact redistribute billions of taxpayer dollars -- but to the banks. Remember when Rep. Steve King said al Qaeda would be "dancing in the streets" if Obama was elected in 2008? Stewart noted that if you replace "dancing" with the dodging of drone missiles, he might have been right.
Or how about when John McCain said gun rights would be at risk "without a doubt" if Obama were elected? Stewart wondered how Obama passing legislation to allow concealed weapons to be carried in parks and on Amtrak trains limits those rights.
"It appears Barack Obama has failed to keep many of the campaign promises that his opponents made for him," Stewart joked.
In part two below, Stewart took at look at what the current GOP candidates have been predicting about Obama's second term, leading him to say, "Y'all have lost your damn minds."

Obama's Marxist Faith Is Legitimate Campaign Issue
Election 2012: Normally a president's faith is a personal, not political, matter and should be left alone. But Obama's faith dictates his political agenda, and therefore is fair game as a campaign issue.
GOP presidential front-runner Rick Santorum did not go "well over the line," as the White House howled, when he questioned Obama's faith during a recent speech. He didn't go far enough.
Santorum said Obama practices a "phony theology" not based on the Bible. He said it's tied to his agenda and led by "radicals" like the Rev. Jeremiah Wright.
Both are true statements. But there's more.
What he also could have said, but stopped short of saying, is that Obama's faith — Black Liberation Theology (BLT) — is actually a front for Marxism and communism. That makes it not only a legitimate topic of discussion, but a critical issue worth investigating.
If only the mainstream media would. Thanks to their refusal, Pew recently found 43% of Americans don't know what Obama's religion is. As we said in a series that ran on these pages in the run-up to the 2008 election, it's important they find out.
BLT, in fact, is the Rosetta stone for understanding Obama and his agenda, decoding his rhetoric, and divining where he plans to take this country. Here is a primer:

In several Hubs, including How Obama's Undeniably Marxist Communist Policies Threaten America and How To Nationalize GM, Ripoff Investors, Gift It To The Unions & Deny It's Communism, I have been challenged by commenters on my classification of Barack Hussein Obama as a socialist, communist, and Marxist. Here are the top twenty points to prove my thesis (all readily verifiable), and please note that I am not including in this list any of the President's policies such as the socialist nationalization of GM and Chrysler which at the stroke of a pen deprived private investors of billions of dollars of their legitimate property and turned it over to the state and the unions (the proletariat in Marxist parlance).
1.Obama admits attending socialist conferences and reading Marxist literature. He stated that he "chose his friends carefully... the Marxist professors... we were resisting resisting bourgeois society’s stifling constraints."
2.Frank Marshall Davis to whom Obama refers to as "Frank" and with whom the young Obama "had a close relationship, almost like a son" is publicly identified as a prominent member of the Communist Party USA and an acknowledged Stalinist agent.
3.Obama held receptions at the home of, and served on boards with, another mentor who has had an indelible influence on his world view: William Ayers along with his wife Bernardine Dohrn. The two were leaders of the terrorist group known as the Weathermen or the Weather Underground, notable for a campaign from 1969 through the middle 1970s of riots, bombings, murders, and a jailbreak. Under Ayers and Dohrn's leadership, the terrorist organization bombed the United States Capitol on March 1, 1971, The Pentagon on May 19, 1972, and the United States Department of State Building on January 29, 1975. Their founding document calls for "the destruction of US imperialism and achieve a classless world: world communism." When recently asked about his terrorist activities, Ayers replied he had "no regrets" and that "we didn't do enough".
4.At one Obama reception at the Ayers Dohrn home Alice Palmer, who was identified by the FBI as being on Soviet payroll in the Eighties and an enthusiastic attendee of the 27th Congress of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, announced that she was stepping down from office as Obama was her chosen successor.
5.Mike Klonsky was funded to the tune of $1,968,718.00 by an organization headed by Obama and Ayers. His father, Robert Klonsky, was an American communist who was convicted for advocating the forcible overthrow of the United States government. Mike founded a precursor of the Weatherman terrorist group, formed the American Communist Party (Marxist/Leninist), was feted in China by Maoists, and spoke in front of Hugo Chavez for the need to bring the Marxist revolution into the classroom.

Economic Fairness: President Obama's Most Cynical Tactic
President Obama claims to be on a moral crusade for “fairness.” In one campaign speech after another, he suggests that his soak-the-rich class warfare will stop “millionaires and billionaires” from grabbing more than their fair share of wealth. But the most likely outcome is that he will end up grabbing more than his fair share of power, and everybody else will be poorer.
It would be hard to name a single case where class warfare appeals to envy and resentment are associated with faster growth rates, more private sector jobs and higher living standards for ordinary people. Moreover, not even hard-core communists seem to have believed in the morality of class warfare. It was always a cynical strategy to provide political cover for a power grab.
The modern gospel of class warfare was developed by Karl Marx. Historian Paul Johnson explained that “the undertone of violence always present in Marxism and constantly exhibited by the actual behavior of Marxist regimes was a projection of the man himself. Marx lived his life in an atmosphere of extreme verbal violence, periodically exploding into violent quarrels and sometimes physical assault. Marx’s family quarrels were almost the first thing his future wife, Jenny von Westphalen, noticed about him…One of Jenny’s earliest surviving letters reads, ‘Please do not write with so much rancor and irritation.’ At Bonn University, the police arrested Marx for possessing a pistol…the university archives showed that he engaged in student warfare…he fought a duel…it is clear that many of his incessant quarrels arose from the violent expressions he was prone to use in writing and still more in speech, the latter often aggravated by alcohol…Marx quarreled with everyone with whom he associated.”
Marx and his comrade Friedrich Engels claimed that (1) there was relentless class struggle between capitalists (the “bourgeoisie”) and workers (the “proletariat”), (2) the workers would become poorer and poorer, and (3) eventually there would be a revolution by workers against capitalists. But such a revolution didn’t happen, because capitalism delivered higher living standards that benefited everyone. In 1863, Marx wrote Engels, acknowledging that “the comfortable delusions and the almost childish enthusiasm with which we hailed the era of revolution have all gone to hell.”
Since Marx promoted violence, it wasn’t surprising that his ideas flourished in some of history’s most barbaric regimes. The first was the Soviet Union, thanks to Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov (or “Lenin,” the best-known of his 160 pseudonyms). The mastermind of the October 1917 Russian Revolution, he had become familiar with Marx by reading the works of Nikolai Chernyshevski, a revolutionary author admired by his brother Alexander who had been hanged for attempting to assassinate the Tsar. Lenin hated aristocrats and middle class people who ostracized his family after the hanging. According to biographer Robert Service, Lenin embraced Marx’s view that “morality was a derivative of class struggle…[Lenin] rejected conscience, compassion and charity…he created the Cheka [secret police]…he eliminated concern for ethics. He justified dictatorship and terror.”
Lenin made his Bolsheviks the most successful revolutionary faction that became the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. He was more responsible than anyone else for the estimated 4 million deaths that occurred during the October Revolution as well as the war communism and the New Economic Policy that followed, until his death in 1924. Historian R.J. Rummel, who compiled statistics on mass murder, pointed out that the class warfare doctrine “explains how individual communists could beat, torture and murder people, and sleep well at night.”
Lenin’s successor Iosif Vissarionovich Dzhugashvili – Josef Stalin — grew up amidst harsh poverty in Russian Georgia. His father was a failed cobbler who beat him up during his many drunken rages. Apparently Stalin joined Lenin’s Bolsheviks, because he could be out on his own, and he was an angry man accustomed to violence. He was diabolically clever, provoking some of his adversaries to attack his other adversaries – weakening all of them. He proved to be quite proficient at Bolshevik fund raising via persuasion, fraud, extortion and armed robbery.
Stalin didn’t seem particularly concerned about the fine points of Marxist doctrines like class warfare. He sympathized with Georgian nationalism against the Tsar, but he readily abandoned that view when pressured to accept Marxist orthodoxy. Stalin’s top priority was to gain power, and he thought absolute adherence to tedious Marxist doctrines could serve as a test of an associate’s loyalty.
Conversely, Stalin found that the slightest deviation from Marxist orthodoxy was a convenient rationale for authorizing the murder of “class enemies.” For example, in 1929 there was talk about forcing “kulaks” to work on Soviet collective farms. The kulaks were independent and supposedly rich farmers, though only about one percent of them had more than one employee. Stalin, however, insisted that “Now we have the opportunity to carry out a resolute offensive against the kulaks and eliminate them as a class.” More than 11 million of these people starved to death in the Ukraine or were shipped to the Arctic where they froze to death.
