    Republican Commissioner Robert McDowell has voted with Martin to approve the merger with conditions, such as a three-year price freeze for subscribers and 24 channels reserved for minority and public programming, according to a person with knowledge of McDowell's vote.

    Article full of same BS you read everywhere deal pending, blah blah, Martin proposal. This one finally mentions McDowell as the second vote, like we all assumed.

    True that we all knew this weeks ago, but having it out there in the open is a big step. The other commissioners should follow suit within the next week or two.

    I expect the institutional shorts will (finally) start covering their positions and the PPS will rise.
