Would love to be a fly on the wall...

Seriously, I wonder how these meetings go. Do you think the FCC has to keep transcripts or minutes of these things for their records, or is it just private behind-door kind of business. How professionally are these things conducted?

    Rehr: Oh hey Deb
Tate: So where did we leave off last week Dave?
Rehr: I don't remember let me just start from the beginning again. This merger to monopoly is anti-competitive...

I wonder if its just the commissioners hearing a presentation of an argument, or if there is dialogue back and forth and discussion of things. Its just frustrating that expartes only reveal "to discuss issues raised" or "pending issues"

I think it goes more like:

    Tate: Lower ...
Tate: .. to the right ..
Tate: there but down a little ..
Tate: still lower and more right ..
    Rehr: Right there?
    Tate: Ahhhhhhhhhhh!

Maybe they just get together and play monopoly. Rehr takes every color and utility on the board, and then complains that Karmazin has all four railroads and its not fair.

You guys are amazing. I knew there was a reason that I love reading these boards.

I have one of my own...
    (Office Door opens)
    Rehr: Good Morning Commissioner XXX

Commissioner XXX: Good morning David! Its great to see you! (Looking both ways to make sure the hall is clear) Do you have my plain unmarked white envelope today?

Rehr: Of course! It is right here sir.

Commissioner XXX: (Pulls Rehr into his office quickly) Excellent... (Tapping fingers like the boss on The Simpsons)
