    FCC Staffers Indicate Possible Timetable

This is probably the most encouraging news we've seen in awhile:

I still say it gets done in two weeks.

This may have absolutely nothing to do with the Sirius / Xm merger. Also, the vote itself is just a formality, as the FCC staffers will "leak" how the vote will go, as was done with Orbitcast yesterday. It looks as though we can safely assume that we are in a 20 day window of completion.
What leak was done on Orbitcast yesterday regarding the merger? I don't get how if a vote is scheduled for what you admit is a unrelated topic, how that has any implication on the vote regarding satellite radio? Or are you just saying the two time tables line up:

    1. No vacation for the next couple of weeks
    2. Vote scheduled for end of July.

It may be relevant in that it means all commissioners will be present that day for the purpose of voting.

Also, the date lines up with Ryans mid to end of month vote tip...
