Hey SL . . great to hear from you in the Siri thread again!

Last time I talked to you we were pissing and moaning about Tru Green ChemLawn . . now I'm just mostly pissing and moaning about all the snow here in the northeast . . got socked again last night . . . all the damn arborvitae trees were laying over on their sides; spent half the day knocking snow off them before freezing temps tonight start cracking branches.

I know you got your hands full with Lloyd Handwringer in the politics thread . . god bless you . . . it's a thankless job but somebody has got to do it now that john abandoned the site (I hope the guy's ok; I don't see him posting anywhere anymore, not even at Cos' site . . maybe he finally burned-out or Lloyd wore him down to a little nub) . . . just bustin Lloyd.

You can still read most of BM at "SA" for free . . . homer985 gave him a good undressing last week on the 2014 converts.

p.s. to Relmor: antidilution provision in the original Investment Agreement so Liberty doesn't get diluted on R/S; I sure wish I could read Johnny Irish' setting the "Morning Markers" in the forums without having to register.

SA for free? Last I checked, the free part was so old it was moldy. Maybe I'm not looking at the right place? (edit - seeking alpha?)

Yes, the Tru Green guys lol. Thanks for the advice. My lawn still suffers, but it is good that weeds are green too. It doesn't matter to the kids, so I probably shouldn't worry about it.

Yesiree, the east coast has been pounded. I grew up 20 minutes west of the NJ line. My parents and siblings are getting dumped on. And here my brother, the skier, just got a knee replaced. Here in MI, we've been spared.

I'm green with SIRI now. It was a long slog. I'll hold some more before I sell. I wish I would have hit the "buy" button for 10,000 more shares at a nickel. Such is life.

It's getting warmer every day now!!!

I guess I am a knucklehead. Rather than slam me, why not explain why he is a knucklehead? For those of us who are challenged?

I can't comment on what Tyler does, I don't read anything Brandon writes. What I do know is that Tyler gets emails questioning other writers and those people emailing ask him to answer a question and he sometimes does in the form of a article. I think its amazing that the author of any website would take the time to cater to requests like that.

Why would I ignore your post? I was trying to engage you in conversation, that has nothing to do with promoting you.

My only point was that ignoring the things you don't like rather than promoting them is probably better for your own cause and peace of mind. Sorry if that bothered you.

It's all good . . .Just breakin your balls a little . . I happen to watch and like Jersey Shore (of course I also live here and have frequented many of those establishments in my ill-spent youth); I threw in the "Snooky" reference because of the "site traffic" point I raised earlier. Snooky did a book signing recently at the local Barnes & Noble . . 700 people lined up around the block for 4 hours . . I was kinda assuming that a "Snooky" reference in an article title at Sirius Buzz was done to drive traffic to the site . . but I will have to accept your position that the site traffic remains fairly stable no matter what (but I would think an article or forum post that said "free porn" would have to drive more traffic . .)

Yes, Tyler is extremely accommodating and a true gentleman . . . the point I was trying to make is that, as much as I would rather not promote someone like Jim Cramer on this site by linking his site's articles or by quoting him, I think that it is more important that "fraudulent mediums" be exposed. These forums permit that kind of instant rebuttal . . ignoring it would almost be kinda sacrilegious. So, for me personally, I achieve better peace of mind by rebutting false and misleading stories that appear to serve no other purpose than to drive traffic to a site or to foment for the purpose of setting up a trade by a hedge fund or by Goldman Sachs (all very well documented btw).

A last name like "LaRocca" and no interest in Jersey Shore? Now that IS sacrilegious!

Don't read too much into it. We just write about whatever we write about. An article about Howard or Bubba might tip the scales a little for one day but other than that, traffic is steady. That said, I dont think we have ever do a fluff piece on either of them. If we write about them, its typically because of a contract issue.

Fair enough. Sometimes I think they are better left undiscovered altogether. Jim Cramer being outlandish is what makes him wildly popular. If not for people refuting him, his audience would be cut in half.

I hear ya but, there have to be some people out there that just write because they actually enjoy it and believe in something. I mean, I write and run this website out of love. I can't be the only one.

Did I hope that there would be 50 million subscribers by now and this website would be wildly popular? Sure but, its been clear for years that was not going to happen anytime soon and yet, here I am.

If it was called "North End" and it was set in Boston, I would watch.

if you have the site bookmarked as a favorite, it loads the page from when you originally bookmarked it (like in my case, it brings up the story the day Mel made a token-buy of 2 Million shares to calm natives as things were going to hell in a hand-basket)

just type "siri" in the search box and it will bring up a list of the current articles . . a box will pop up to ask you to log in or register; you can just close it and still read the articles and comments.

yup, warmer every day and a little more daylight to boot!

Here's a little Sirius Buzz morning trivia for ya . . . now don't go trying to look up the answer; that's too easy. Just try to answer based on your general knowledge.

Who once posted the following comment:

"Mr. Karmazin's total 2006 Sirius pay package exceeded $31 million. Given that, and his substnatial net worth, I would compare him buying 2 million Sirius shares to any of you buying 200 Sirius shares. It's enough to impress individual shareholders, but this is a drop in the bucket to Mr. Karmazin, and definitely not enough to impress institutional portfolio managers, who are still avoiding this stock. It's likely done for appearance reasons. But don't let that stop you. Go ahead. Dive in. If Mel's doing it, it must be okay, right?"

    Was it:

    A.) TYLER SAVERY
    B.) RELMAR2001
    C.) COS1000
    D.) CRFCEO
    E.) CANDLEMAN
