Companies May Fail but Directors are in Demand

I should have included Board of Directors in my previous comments along with CEO's.

Hmmmm, a common thread between politicians, CEO's and Board of Directors. At least the CEO's go to different companies. I wonder if we can send some of our politicians to some other country?

The point is we DONT want INCOMPETENT Board of Directors to GO ANYPLACE ELSE.
We want them to go to the "bad directors graveyard". They shouldnt be rewarded for their incompetence.
We want bad politicians to retire or be voted out of office. i dont think other countries would take them. Lol.

Can we make a "bad politician graveyard" as well? Herein lies on of my points about the corruption of government. "Bad policians" can get relected time and time again because their constituency is "red" or "blue".

I'm sure you read the article. Many didn't go anywhere else.

Too many bad directors and CEO's get new jobs and walk away with huge payoffs.

Yes of course there should be a "bad politicians graveyard".

Unfortunately too many of our fellow citizens dont know the facts on the ground. Listening to Fox all the time doesnt help. Look at the polls concerning what Fox news watchers believe. Its scary.

The political system is corrupt because of too much money. The recent Supreme Court decision just made it possible for more groups and people to contribute anonymously. Its insane. You are going to see record amounts of money spent on these midterm elections.

This is among the reasons bad politicians get elected over and over again.

So now you blame Fox News for the way people vote? Look, you and I may be aware of Fox News, but I'm pretty sure we're the exception amongst voters. Really, don't even go there. The Democratic constituency is pretty well defined. My union father in law votes democratic because he's in the union. period. Great reason, huh? He doesn't know jack about Fox News. He doesn't give a $hit about Obama's "policies". He votes democratic because he was told to.

It works the other way, I understand that. But to blame Fox News... I'd like to think you're smarter than that.

I agree, the political system is corrupt because of money and POWER. I heard this sound bit of Barbara Boxer correcting a US General - she wanted to be called "senator", not "maam". That's power at work.

Fox news is definitely ONE of the problems out there. Its a reason so many peopel who watch believe Obama is a Muslim and a Socialist. All you have to do is look at the polls of Fox news listeners. They believed in large numbers that Sadam Hussein was behind 9/11. You dont believe this kind of stuff if you arent getting a heavy dose of lies. No other way around it S&L.

I understand that most people vote the way there parents vote. Its a a proven fact. Hence why Union members vote a certain way. Most people are sheep on left and right.

Unfortunately Fox news is the number 1 news channel and it acts as an echo chamber for people on the right and allows them to believe things that are totallly false. I seriously believe its quite dangerous. And even David Brooks a Conservative understands that danger. I would hope that someone as smart as you would understand that as well.

Now that you have given an example of Barbara Boxer's abuse of power can you please name one from the Republican side. I bet you dont know even ONE. LOL. i will even allow you to google an example.

Good one!! Here's a list of 100 mistakes by Bush. Collectively, they constitute abuse of power, sir.
