    List of Contributions from Oil Companies to Congress

    Oh and wouldnt you know it. Mr Barton himself is one of the biggest receivers of contributions from Oil and Gas companies. I wonder if that anything to do with the fact that he apologized to BP. LMFAO. Thats right he apologized to BP. You cant make this stuff up.

    It sure looks like the majority of the money went to Republican members of Congress. And quite a few Democrats didn't take any money at all.

    It looks Mr. Barton has a bit of problem. Republicans from the Gulf Coast are furious that his remarkds are making their party look like they are on the side of BP and not on the side of the people whose lives have been so terribly impacted.

    I was just thinking. Did John ever express any empathy for the gulf coast people impacted by the spill or was he simply on a Obama bashing campaign? I mean of course after he belittled the spill to begin with.
