    2. Multiple Receivers: Each Subscription to the Satellite Radio Service is tied to one Receiver. If you want to have the Satellite Radio Service on multiple Receivers, you must purchase a separate Subscription for each Receiver although all of your Subscriptions may be combined on a single account.

If you want the "Best Of" packages on additional receivers, it costs an extra $4 per radio though. This should drive some monster revenue if subscribers with multiple radio's sign up for this.....

I would have to ask where you got that info. I have called along with some of my friends and we have all been told the $4 is for your master radio and you would not be charged for any additional radios for the best of XM

No, the 6.99 charge is for any additional receiver added to the master receiver's account, but you must have a Sirius master receiver to add another radio for 6.99.

Thumbs down Sirius & XM second radio?

I've contacted Sirius and XM many times since the merger. I have two vehicles, one has Sirius, the other XM. I would have chosen Sirius, but I wanted that vehicle and XM was the only choice. For a year I have been chomping at the bit for the merger. I believe one of the two cars should have a $6.99 pricetag. I'm paying full price for each. Now with the merge of stations it is sickening that the billing departments can't merge!!!! I am pretty sure the coffers are under the same ownership these days!

    Latest response:

Thank you for contacting SIRIUS in regards to having both SIRIUS and XM
as well as our recent programming change. We certainly understand your
concern and are here to assist!

John, at this time we are unable to activate an XM receiver on a SIRIUS
account and a SIRIUS receiver on an XM account. We are also unable to
provide discounts because we can not link the two accounts. Please
continue to visit www.sirius.com and www.xmradio.com for the latest
    updates.

i don't find that a good excuse, they should give you a discount then on one, ask for the ala cart price or something. I can see the excuse that there are subtle differences in the programming.

Maybe ask for an ala carte price with the best of package added or something, savings of 1 or 2 $$.

I think they should offer some consolation.
