Been here since the begining and scooped up a good bit of that 400% in cash. Tyvm. The only difference between me and most of you is I understand a balance sheet with 3.2 billion and Liberty getting 40% of the company on the cheap was not good for us. Many people still believe this is a lottery ticket, it may be a winning ticket thus far but the game is far from over, thats why we lock in profits over here.

Big Ben the proverbial BEAR, and the economy has not started to regain strength, silly rabbit, its government stim thats proping everything up, 2/3 of of the gdp was stim package, cars are not selling, homes are not selling, no one is hiring, were screwed plain and simple, like Ron Paul said we're in a financial mess right now.

People, this game is very simple.

    1. Day trader bashes the stock.
    2. Gullible person sells their shares in fear.
    3. Stock price goes down.
    4. Day trader buys on dip.
    5. Day trader stops bashing the stock or says it's a good investment and spams boards.
    6. Stock price goes up.
    7. Day trader sells shares.
    8. Go back to step #1.

Hint: Ignore them, don't feed the troll.

    Think it's a good investment, buy/hold.
Think it's a bad investment, sell.

Don't let someone elses opinion be a factor in your own decision making process. Someone should take the timestamps provided by Big Ben and cross reference them to when he was bashing sirius. I quoted the post so he can't retroactivly edit his post. It would be amusing to see "DEAD MONEY GUYS DEAD MONEY" and he just bought a bunch of shares.

But let me look at just one of your trades, your last one.

You're late on your car payment, or did they already repo it?

voodoo go back to practicing magic, lol....novice

    Voodoo,

here are the rest of my trades so you can try and prove your outlandish theory about pump and dump bullshit...who do you think I am GS.

    02/17/2010 08:03:37 Bought 5000 SIRI @ 1 -5,009.99 ---
    02/17/2010 15:05:55 Sold 5000 SIRI @ 1.0601 5,290.44 ---
    02/18/2010 10:06:07 Sold 5000 SIRI @ 1.1402 5,691.18 ---

I would have posted these yesterday but my account only lets me reference years worth of trades at a time. So go check your math now on the 466$ comment, and by the way my work truck MSRPs over 60k, the payment is 737smacks a month, probably more than your 1 bed room apartment that you rent..lol.

As for your list of 1-6 on day trading, I hope you don't think I pump and dump, if you do, wow are you 1 clown shy of circus. Do you understand the share count on siri? I don't even think the big boys with substantial shares can pump and dump without raising eyebrows. As for the GS, Cramer, CNBC connection, there might be some merit there, but extremely difficult to prove.

As for your investment strategy of buy and hold if you like it and sell if you don't, thats a little nuts too. How long have you been investing...if thats what you call it? Where have you been the last ten years, most professionals go buy the S&P 500 look at a ten year chart. They are calling it the lost decade, why? Two major corrections..2003 and 2009. Believe it or not many funds invest in the indicies. So where would they be if they invested in 2000-2010, no where, they lost principle and inflation every year. So please understand buy and hold is dead, I hate to quote Cramer's book but even he says buy and homework, not hold. Can you at least understand when markets correct or fall out of the sky you can't be holding the bag the hole way down. Pre 2000 buy and hold is fine, post 2000 its a losing strategy.

As for "investing" in siri....at what point do knowledgeable "investors" buy penny stocks? Here is a tip, they don't! People invest in companies that have strong balance sheets, not just growing revenue. Why do major mutual funds not buy companies that are under 5$? Because professionals understand the risk and downside. Siri is a spec play only, 20% of your portfolio, no more.

All the "genius" investing in the past 10 months is hilarious. What % of stocks have gone up since the March 9th re inflation of the bubble? So many that my neighbors 3 year old could have thrown darts at a wall of stocks and probably done pretty well, does that make her knowledgeable? Hell know.

Case/Shiller out a few minutes ago, pretty bad, housing sinking in most markets and the shadow market, the one I work in, is bigger than you might believe. When these homes make it to the C/S, look out below.

As for the video released last night about siri, it makes sense, baked in, take profits, at least some, if we want our stock to trade normally like other stocks, then buy the rumor sell the report is pretty common on wall street.

    Good luck today

I can't fathom why you would make this trade. This is $90 profit, probably less when you take into account brokerage fees. (But let's say is $5 a trade, so $10 total), this gives you a profit of...

    $80! Partay!

I don't even login to my brokerage account for $80 with all of those security questions.

What happens when you stack 80$ on top of itself 10 times? 800$ Do it again in the short run, more cash, and yes I said cash not paper profits. Have you ever looked at chart of siri since inception, tons of people lost their asses on this pig. This stock might not trade back to .68 on a real basis, but after the reverse split it might on a % basis be beaten back to some absurd level. What will you do then when you chuck of shares is squished by 50-1. The shorts will grab this thing and sink it 20%, thats when the lump in your throat will get real big.

Is anyone surprised that there is a criminal probe being put to Toyota, with Obama motors on the hill? GM should have died with Chrysler, what a shame the markets were not allowed to work properly.

    Big Ben
    80$ richer, tyvm

PS....I believe Mel is going to do the reverse either way, he hates the common.

I also want to say I told you so on the close yesterday, higher volume and lost 2%, not quite red, so I lost a dollar to all takers but I was close. We grabbed back the 2% this morning and have lost most of it already. I am glad I was patient not buying at 1.12, I have over 11k of dry powder to work with.

Some info for the research impaired, CPI, dropped over 10 points, last night Germany reported a drop also, and Shelia Bair just release some staggering info on the banks, over 702 in trouble...here comes the red! 60 point swing fast.

I am a little surprised markets are sinking with all the pool pumps and candles that are selling! LOL!

Thats funny, I don't care who you are. Come on Vapo even you can laugh at that one.

Speaking of Vapo's, I have a digital vaporizer that I am missing right now in Puerto Rico, not real comfortable with purchasing anything from the locals.

Siri is dropping like a bad habit, might not hold 1 today. I think Mel wants it to go under so he has to reverse and give away the rest of the company to Liberty.

Happy Holding folks! Losing paper profits does not really mean anything anyway, you did not really have anything to begin with.

There is a problem with making comments like these Ben.
You seem to be saying every day of the week (like yesterday and today for example) that SXM "might" not hold $1. Sooner or later you might be right and then again you might never be right.

"Siri is dropping like a bad habit". Is it really?

You MIGHT just be your own worse enemy.

    Havasha

Do understand anything you read? Yesterday I was going to buy around 1.12 but the stock leveled off and sank on high volume at the close. If you remember I was the one who said the volume was high and momentum might have pushed the stock higher(1.25), dumb ass. I waited and it was the right thing to do. Today we were down 2-4% early and I felt it could continue to fall which it has not. It has leveled off again. Do you watch any charts or level 2? You can't possibly with your comments.

    Big Ben

Your cherry picking again! When you read reports on the economy do you rearrange sentences and paragraphs?
