Yes they are two things that have the very same ideologies. Dont take my word for it, listen to a man who lived under comminism, Czech Republic President Vaclav Klaus has to say about it:


“We are talking about two ideologies, and in this respect they are structurally very similar:
they are against individual freedom, they are in favor of central(ized) masterminding of our fates, they are both very similar in telling us what to do, how to live, how to behaveve, what to eat, how to travel, what we can do and what we cannot do and so on. Thats right England is now trying to control every aspect of peoples lives that live in England. If this was not true it would be "1984 George Orwellen". Think about this they will now try to control how much you drive to how much trash you can have.
