No, thank you - Julie, Too

This thread would likely look a lot different, if it weren't that we have a lady present.

After all, integrity can only go so far...at times, it's not a bad idea to have a self-corrective mechanism in place

    Gone for the week

I've decided it's time to hop back on the bike and head to the hills. So, first thing Sunday morning I'm pedaling to Ohio through West Virginia, Virginia, and Maryland. Hope to catch some awsome fall foilage. I've decided to pedal from micro brewery to micro brewery. I'll end up in Marietta Ohio by Wednesday and turn around. I plan to sample as many lagers as a human being can sample in a week and still ride a bike.....LOL We'll see how this goes.....LOL LOL LOL

So, when I return in 10 days or so, I hope to look at the computer and be up a little.

In the meantime, you all have a wonderful week. I'll be thinking of all of you as I pedal and drink my way to happiness. And I hope you all have a happy and prosperous week!

    Cheers

    Chuck

    Hey Chuck,

Have a blast on your trek...FALL time is wonderful time to be out...the colors are amazing here. We have a few leaves left on the trees, but they have all but blown off now and this part of the state is still waiting for our first snowfall to hit the ground.

    Be sure to take pics!!!!

    Hi Julie,

You are very kind, I agree with Ram's wholeheartedly ... Have you been sucked into this piggy bank market yet? Just curious. Might be heading out your way sooner than I know, one of our other offices is in Auburn Hills (?).

Bass! Great to hear from you, we have been asking amongst ourselves about your MIA status. Must have missed your mention of going to Europe ... Welcome back!

    Hi LosTib,

I can't imagine, even with out me here, you guys being anything but gentlemen.

Nope, never ventured into the Penny Zone. I would have to be pretty
fast with my decisions over here as well as being well read. Two areas I do
not excel in. So I am just holding Sirius, where things move a LOT
    slooower!

Auburn Hills, about 50 miles from me. Let me know if you need to borrow a snowsuit from me while you're here.

Actually, if you are like me you can venture into the netherworld of the pennies and still be tortured by the blazing speed that mirrors SIRI - It just takes the focus off of it in a little psychological slight of hand ...

What's a 'snowsuit'? I envision Ralphies little brother in A Christmas Story all layered up to the point where he can't get his arms to stay down.

But sure, I'll take you up on it ... if it doesn't have bunny ears ....

(Had to take out some of your icons to get mine in - Over the image limit)

    Qasp

    Confession time ...

I have QASP on the brain, in my dreams ... At the Shrub, all over the net ... In fact lets count them ...

    Currently -

    8 Pages up -
    1 with 7 tabs
    1 with 13 tabs
    A couple with 2 tabs ...

    QASP T-Shirts
    QASP Coffee mugs
    QASP Frisbees
    QASP LVR license plate ...

Kidding, of course the lic. plate ... hmmm.

Have just about exhausted myself researching this and finally just sent Dean an email, a bit too polished upon reflection, probably thinks I am lawyer or a spy from the SEC.

Went back and did the opposite of Bill and think I found a way to get off the shrub addiction by immersing myself into it even further. Actually went back to Post #1 and started clicking through them speed reading style ... Got historical from it all (the postings originate from the former Equus holders and company), it helped to see who has been in this thing for awhile over there but also got me interested in the players prior (and current), the lawsuit, etc.

Pretty intriguing story how this has played out so far. If anybody has an interest or needs some sleepy time reading material ...

    http://www.complaints.com/2009/febru...STE_202955.htm

It's only 196 items ... But it was quite enlightening to read the accusations against these gutter dwellers. Picked up on some of the names that are still involved with Quasar today (or were until recently, Marty Zell for instance) and naturally plugged these into various searches ...

Being still suspicious/skeptical and not wanting to color anything it appears that much of what I had picked up on the shrub was true - They went after these guy's, threw the bums out and apparently salvaged the shareholder base. It was a little tricky trying to ascertain who might have been a culprit or a victim of the shenanigans - Lisa Betros, (current SVP of admin. @ Quasar) was mentioned but appeared to be a victim as one example.

A piece that Marty sent Washington Mutual regarding the roaches, er gentlemen in question -

    http://www.quasaraerospace.net/PR20080421.pdf

And something of a follow up PR to the litigation -

    http://www.quasaraerospace.net/PR20080416.pdf

PR related at the time -

    http://finance.paidcontent.org/v?Pag...&GUID=8303251#

Couldn't find any real conclusion to the case, what became of it all. Once again, much is piecemeal trying to make a comprehensive ... evaluation. I still remain skeptical until proven otherwise, to my mind there is every possibility that a similar situation could be underfoot, it is still the Pinks and the pennies. Having stated that much I haven't found anything fishy with the current group, probably more the opposite ... still the radar is ... blah, blah, blah ...

(Insert here - Couldn't let this one linger without a mention - It goes back to a time before things were uncovered by these 'outstanding citizens' and shows the sheer audacity and presumption ... to put it mildly. Pretty incredible and serves as just another one of those things we already know about taking any PR at face value ... http://www.thefreelibrary.com/Presid.....-a0132407283 ) Pure BS!

One item of interest came about here -

    http://www.sunbiz.org/scripts/cordet...t_princ_type=R

    "Combustion Engine Technologies, Inc."

Dean Bradley and Lisa Betros, Jamie Herring all listed ... Not sure what to make of it, might bring it up if I get a response from Dean. Curious.

One item that did make me wonder is why there hasn't been any mention in almost all of the PR's about http://www.quasaraircraft.com/Home_Page.html and the LSA - More info on the planes:

I have so many links, I can hardly recall what belongs to what, but for what it's worth ...

Hey there LT...I am not sure what to make of what's going on with this one. I believe the company is legit and the product is real but can't figure out the downward movement in the price??? Like you said, it feels like mglg, even though I know it's not. I'm a pretty simple cat and don't shake things up too much but I had to in this case, tired of seeing my account drop week after week even though I consider this play money, still, I just don't want to flush it down the drain. I will get back into qasp but for now I sold it along with bcle at about a 50% loss and bought back into siri. I just see more upside in the near term and just wanted to shake things up a bit. I appreciate the DD you've done on this because I will still follow this closely and if it starts to make a real move, I'm back in.

    Hey Geek,

I am just too stubborn to take a loss, something that needs some work likely ... ended up avg. down with the hope that I can bail on it if need be - Clarify that, a small loss I have no problem with ... Think you are right, have been wishing I had funneled this back into SIRI right about now, especially with the CC\Q3 report coming up ... It has been one of the better lessons though, realizing how these things always come back down, could have bought what I have currently at a better price and saved a number of commissions costs from buying in these smaller tranches. I am a bit overextended on this, no doubt.
