    MGLG has 13 trades...no MM's and isn't doing anything yet. It has a volume of almost 10 million shares. They must be turning the lights back on.

    Market Makers hold large hunks of the stocks and trade them within the spread to make money. They can only make money in the spread. They are just a bunch of greedy guys picking the meat off of everybody's bones.

    You can trade without them, but stock is way more volatile when there are none present. That is the way I understand it.

    That's what I got as well ... some confussion on the shrub (Go figure!) whether or not they are trading on the pinks or the Grey ...
