    Hey Bass,

Thanks, buddy! I stay away from machines also, but this one just kept paying, so why argue with it? I am a craps player, but had a ton of fun with this one machine...normally, I am fearful of the odds with machines! Let's rock QASP this week!

Fact is, my head was about to explode from being on the computer so much. I had to step away from things for a little while.

You may remember, I headed out to Burning Man for what was supposed to be a week. I don't remember if I mentioned anything about the actual trip or not.

Funny thing is, I was ready to turn around several times...my heart just wasn't in it. I did make it there - set up - hung out for a few days and returned four days early.

Full disclosure: Don't talk smack about going on a guy's trip when you've not been away from your family for some time. yep, this was the first time that I had been away from my son since he was two years old.

A lot has changed - I missed him tremendously; the wife, too

I did get off my butt and take a few pictures, though.

    You can see them at:

Anyway, I sold some shares and was leaning towards stepping away from the market for a spell. I wound up repurchasing today to add to the shares that I kept.

I guess that I'm addicted to the stuff like the rest of you...

There will come a day, however, that I will not be connected to the World Wide Spider Web...

    anyway...

My cocktail is working nicely...I'd better watch it, before long I'll be telling y'all all about everything

Again, thanks for the kind words -- you all are quite lovely, yourselves.

    Hey Ramsey,

I do recall, think you made mention over at the wave ... you take some really good pics! It looks like a Mad Max family reunion

Very, very cool ... the heart knows.

Maybe this is a good place to stick this in here. Last weekend did some digging around, have been on a mission of sorts to find some good books on these pennies. Picked up the Schwager book recommended by Dr. Dave, Market Wizards: Interviews with Top Traders (The first or original book of the three, it hasn't arrived yet) - Read a bunch of reviews on it and while not geared to the pennies ... looking forward to the interviews, the mindsets, the psychology of it all. I stumbled upon Forty Years A Speculator by Fred Carach since it was geared more towards the pennies and liked what the reviews had to say - http://www.amazon.com/FORTY-YEARS-SP.../dp/1430316608 - It showed up in two days and is really a good, easy read so far. It's almost like having a Grandfather sit you down and talk sense into you, one that has been playing in this field of ours for decades. Already I can't but recommend it just 25 pages in. It's reassuring in the things that most of us are already aware of, leverage for instance - Some of it might ruffle the feathers a bit (day traders) but I am finding it similar to what is found here ... just overall more food for thought and strategy. I think taking off on Ramsey's comment about stepping away from the market for a spell and not to read too much into that, but he appears to be more inclined toward holding his stocks for longer periods ... years, but with the caveat of selling when they are overbought, overly priced. Getting ahead of myself a bit having only read so far but it just has a feel like it was written by one of our own here, not some media darling or analyst, some hot shot floor trader with a 'system' ...

I am dedicated to understanding this under/other/nether-world. Well convinced this is where it's at if there is money to be made that goes beyond some meager avg. playing on the big boards. I will get educated on it and want to know how it really works, the whole structure - not basing things on hunches and guess work, shrub-speak - "I think ____" ... Guess my own tendencies is to take a little bit of knowledge and so called DD, jump into the fray and then start backpedaling, back to the foundations and fundamentals ... history, how these markets were built, how they operate and function. It's almost less, in fact I am highly suspicious of anything that has a "How to ____" in it's thrust or agenda ... less the investment strategy per se and more the nut's and bolts. I am, as usual, now rambling ...

So, now, the 10k has been delayed...there's been a selloff...and we're below my initial investment (.1356).

There's one trading day between now and the announced reverse split.

What I need to educate myself on is what happens with the reverse, should the 10k NOT present itself. Perhaps it's been mentioned here already & I missed it? This is research that will happen on Sunday evening or oh_dark_thirty on Monday.

Anyway, the way I'm thinking is that I'll buy on Monday morning in just about any case.

Should the 10K go out between now and then...

    AND...

Should it shoot the moon in the afternoon, well, I'll have to re-evaluate - since this puts *me* back in my personally uncomfortable_with_the_reverse_split pricing margins.

Now, say the 10K doesn't come out -- the price remains where it is...and then the reverse DOES happen...hey, I still like it and WILL ride *that* wave.

Now, if - indeed - the delayed 10k negates the reverse...then I'm definitely one happy mofo.

tough call, do you think the friday runup was caused by shorts or NSS covering? The story came out before the RS announcement from buyins.net that the shorts are out of the money at .09, so that would be a signal of a cover friday...maybe they know now is their only chance to get out....only good things to come...

SPNG is fundamentally valued at around .30 so .10 is unbelievable buy, but can it go lower and will it go lower after the RS?? dunno, but if .08 breaks the next support is .05, i have some $$ left incase it gets tested (before or after the RS) thats all on that one....have to make your own choice based on those tidbits....(the game changer is the 10k and we don't know how long the reaudit of 2008 and 7 will take) i wonder if the sec allows the RS to happen without the 10k being filed another kicker in the equation.

Where is "over there"? yazoo? Its unreal how many lies people can tell there...there's a real nice guy named ramsey...that I think is nice and smart though, lol...

I started using the ignore button like mad, it helps...otherwise I got burnt out and had to shut the computer off for 3 and a half minutes!! jk, i was burning out though..

Glad to see you and bill again....gotta go drink all day, probably check in again sunday....

Maybe I just missed it, don't recall it mentioned here ... At any rate, considering the source

One thing for sure, this is an incredible adventure following it all ... The drama alone ...
