it was mistakenly sent. It was supposed to be sent to people with buy orders, you can not buy the stock from scottrade but you can sell it.

In this morning at .14, out at .1628 within an hour and a half. Easy way to make a thousand bucks and the day isn't over.

I would not have even thought of this trade if it weren't for this forum.

if the naked shares aren't part of the reverse split, which they shouldn't be, then they will have to cover possibly 900 million naked shares with only 5 million shares available to buy, interesting, now the 100 RS makes sense, take O/S to nearly nothing so they can't get back without skyrocketing the pps.

So in effect, FORCE the NSS by applying the r/s? This is one crazy game of chess. Good thing we're the crazy penny chasers. This is right up our ally.
I have to agree with Bass tho. The bottom line is the balance on your trading acct at the end of the day. It's a great product and will continue to be even after the r/s. You can always buy back in.
With that in mind, after Romo announced to us the delayed 10-Q I sold my position In SPNG last Friday. I like the company and the product, but it's been my experience that when expected filings are delayed, it is rarely ever good. So I sold with the mentality that I can always buy back in later. Never hesitate to exit and take profits if you are in doubt. That's how I protect the value of my trading acct. (And how I keep my sanity in this market.).

And of course you were way ahead of me by the time I responded - FWIW Stang, this seems to be soley a Scottrade issue from what we could gather last week.

They just got moved up on the tier for the Pinkies so I think this has more to do with commison charges between them and the MM's than anything else.
