p.s. I do like Tylers take on Audiovox (see main page); anybody else thinking about it??

would'a been nice to have jumped in on Liberty when the Investment Agreement was announced . . . ya snooze ya loose.
I called for well over $500 mil Ebitda about 2 months ago when royalty fee was announced,as it will directly add to bottom line, but John homer and myself disagree a little on how many will actually pay what, with long term plans not paying and we don't know how many second and 3rd subs their are..I had it conservatively at 250 mil a year..that is with current 15.4 mil self pays, everyone we add now pays it..
Think john is right about his EBITDA numbers tho.

    Roadkill,

I took about a half hour of study on Audiovox. It does look good in the long run. So, I jumped in a few minutes ago at 7.18
There are SO many places to put your cash out there. It's nice when somebody plants a seed for you to think about every now and then.
This company is so wide spread. It's not just Sirrius, but it's the whole auto industry. And it's a few big name brands in the home entertainment field too.
When consumer spending picks up again, it could turn into a good prospect.

    Hi Johnny,

Glad you had a good time. I imagine you had a lot of catching
up to do, being you were away from this board for so long.

Trading. Who would have thunk it. I know, I am nervous,
first time and all. I hope I'm not stuck. It looks like the price
is going up, instead of down to .46 Maybe I need
to rethink my limit. Do you think it will go down at all? Or is that
a stupid question. Oh, so hard!!

    Julie

Total debt and long term debt are lower than they were five years ago, actually total debt is lower than two years ago. The stock was trading 50% - 100% higher than it is now.

It does smell a little like new money in the long run.

I feel better about a company that is spread across the entertainment spectrum like this, rather than a company that is only in one segment. In other words it's not just cars, but it's also a home entertainment company.

Sirrius will really boom when they figure out how to be a home entertainment source and not just primarily in the car.

I have to beleive with Direct TV they can sure up home retail with full blown SXM being beamed into homes with a box connected to all home audio systems with Sat on roof..It's a no brainer to me,but could affect bottom line for DTV,as it would take rev away..
