Posted on 04 August 2009
On July 15, 2009, Goldman Sachs reported that they had purchased an additional 9 million shares of Sirius/XM Radio.
You can review all of Goldman Sach’s purchases at their latest SEC Edgar filing here:

"the street is looking forward"
therefore, promo sub losses due to auto malaise are already in the rear-view mirror Doc . . forward looking is next two Q's
"Mel is deliberate about not providing much guidance"
Mel is "calculating" Doc in providing no guidance other than EBITDA; he is explicit in not providing guidance as to other metrics (covered this in-depth several days ago)
"mountain of debt in the future"
the company is well capitalized thru 2010
The toxicology report is in Doc . . the only toxin found in the Sirius XM bloodstream is the "poison pill" that protects the NOL carry-forwards and prevents a lowball takeout offer.
Next patient please.
goes to "Steve O" from the main page:
"I will take it one step further - they should have Sirius/XM playing in the showroom, the parking lot, the men’s and ladies room, etc. They have to take this product and make people aware of it; shove it down their throats if necessary. The smart people will realize how great satellite radio is, and the stupid people are so gullible and naive…. they will decide they want it also.
There is always the exception - my cousin for example. He is one of the most ignorant, lazy, dimwitted numskulls on this planet. He bought an 08′ Honda Accord about a year and a half ago. The car came with 3 months of free XM. Despite my pleading, this imbecile never turned it on, and did as he always does - kept listening to AM talk sports. ALL THE TIME! This braindead shithead claims that he really likes country music, so I informed him that there were several terrific country channels at his disposal. WITH NO FREAKING COMMERCIALS! I could not persuade this pathetic waste product to hit that goddamn XM button. He is such a lazy, piece of shit slacker - and so set in his moronic ways - that he wasted the entire 3 month trial period. He embodies every horrible trait that a human being can have, and I am ashamed that he has anything to do with the same gene pool that I decended from. My point is that some people are a lost cause, and there is no convincing them of sat radios virtues. My God, what a useless, despicable fool my douch bag cousin is. I can’t stand the son of a bitch."
come-on guys . . someone else post something . . we need to keep over-riding the drug guy so that the thread doesn't get buried . .
I knew the threat of a game would work.
