Michigan is going to look good to you, when you're looking for a new

If I was looking for a new place to lay my surfboard, It would be with a state that at least didn't just lay down and hand themselves over to the British.

I hope your comfortable knowing you are never more than 8 miles away from water. Do people need refrigerators/freezers 10 months of the year????? With all that ice I would think you could simply leave the food outside???? Or inside...[/QUOTE]

So, you really had to play dirty. Throw a link in there. Low blow, Socal.
Do you take candy from babies too? Kick puppies from your path?
I guess that cruel streak comes from roasting in the sun all day.
We're not like that here in Michigan, we're friendly.

Well, I guess you got me there. We did invent the Amber law. That takes care of the candy line. I'd have to say Vick probably wins the puppy prize. And we do have Death Valley, the hottest place in the United States. So you got me there.

I guess the Michigan, visitor and tourism bureau, will be happy to see you hang your hat on "friendly". I'm not sure Californians are friendly, but statistics do show many of them are "fried" most of the time. Nice win with the "friendly" Julie.
I guess that makes us. 1 Socal 1 Julietoo. Until next time. Which is grudge match time. Take Care.

You are too kind Socal. Thank you! Have a good night. And if the room
starts to shake, grab the nearest tree.

I know I'm going off topic, but who cares. Living on the edge.
dang forgot to go back and catch up...

Last year we went to Florida in December, next year is Aruba in April...nothing's worse than watching your tan dissapear hour by hour as soon as the plane decends through the big grey cloud over michigan.

Never been to Punta Cana before, it was very nice, tropical. The water was so clear it was like swimming in a glass of water. you could see your feet in 5 feet of water. It was so hot if you stood still in a place without a breeze you just sweat and sweat, luckily theres a breeze on the beach.

The hotel had marble floors everywhere, manicured landscaping, water fountains etc. very nice. Wish i remember more spanish as their english wasn't great and some workers barely knew any english.

All in all an excellent vaca, especially for the price.

Sounds like a wonderful vacation, Romo. Especially the clear water part.
It's great you go to different places each year, the tendancy is to return
to the same place again and again. So I'm told.

So when you disappear again, it will be Aruba in April. That sounds
like a song. Aruba in April....

    Enjoy this wonderful rainy day,

    Julie

Thanks for highlighting my post from last week about exercising. As
I sit here at 9:45 in the morning at my laptop, reminded me of what
I wrote. Oh well, there's always tomorrow, right? Besides today I am
off so there will be plenty of time to get to it. Now I just need to shut
    this damn thing off. Nah.
