I have to formulate a plan - I took the hit on the AMZN call the I held overnight, but I had bought an FSLR call, its up 130% at the moment from yesterday's close. I'm looking for FSLR to hit about $180 - the resistance for an earnings run up. The thing is, the price gapped today, so the stock is moving too fast, its an erratic stock, and I'm sure there will be happy sellers near the end of the day today. I"m tired, and want to sleep a bit. I'm thinking of still holding out for resistance, as, its likely going to hit. But holding overnight doesn't sound pleasant on the gain that I have.

Then I read the news, which I try to refrain from, and see the motley fools bashed it today. Any of you newshounds notice what the reactions are to the fools?

CNBC pumped AMZN yesterday, and it crashed today, even after beating estimates. Would you say that the negative press from the fools is a good thing? If it was cramer, I'd hold for a week.

The motley fool is a jerk off IMO. He has been one of the prime destructors of SIRI. I avoid the site so he doesn't get paid for click-throughs on advertising. That is how much I respect his opinion.

    Bass

Bass, here is how to post:

Here is how to post charts and such:

I use a program called Paint.NET. It is FREE and is paintbrush.exe on steroids. It is very easy to use and works great.

    !) Alt PrtScn
    2) Open Paint.NET and then Edit, then Paste
    3) Then use the rectangle select button in the tools box to the left (It is the upper left icon)
    4) Select the information on the image that you want
5)Then select Image on the top menu and choose Crop to selection.
6)Optional: you can re-size the image with Image then choose Resize. If you screw anything up, you can go back with Edit then Undo.
    7) Save the image to your computer as a .JPG
    8) Upload it to a server (where you have a web page ((maybe your service provider provides a website space for you)) or a site that you can upload pictures to) maybe photobucket.com
9)Then insert the image link in a post here. Use Insert Image button.

    Hope this helps.

I think that hit I took on AMZN was 75%, LOL - and could be more, since I paid a little more for it than what it closed for yesterday

and the funniest part is that I usually tell myself not to hold into an earnings report without a decent gain, for a stock, its not as big of a deal, I think AMZN is down 8% - but you should have seen that option this morning, the stock opened low, say down 6%, the option opened like down 30%, Then just dropped another 30% while I turned my head.

OMG - your "reason for edits" about made me choke to death.

Anyway, people play with the fool, or against. If people listen and start to dump, I"ll lose $$$ - the option price will decay over the weekend, so I could be down as much as 10% or so even if the stock is the same price. I'm thinking of cutting out now.

In the time I replied to sean, the price shot way up, then I read your post and it cost me $50. I'll try to post a lesson later about these crazy things, it's like the pennies, but its constant motion -
