It seems like everybody's timing is simply wonderful today. I am about as organized as a soup sandwich. Actually I had a great plan of attack, but my internet befuddled me.

Shots - Thanks for the info on the smartphone! I don't have one though or an internet connection on it. It is capable, but isn't part of my plan. I would love to have an IPhone, but I am with Verizon.

F@CK VERIZON! All cellphone service providers are the exact same. Go with the one that gives you the phone you want.

With the trading capabilities of the iPhone, if you make one good trade on it that you wouldn't otherwise have been able to make then you have made back any money you may have lost in switching carriers.
The blackberry also has decent trading apps for TDA and ETrade and both can provide internet you your computer via PDAnet.

Currently I know of no cellphone apps of any kind for Scottrade.

I have an iPhone and have 3g. Been doing all my trading through it and have my accts with etrade. It works great! But typing on this thing is a bi#<%tch!

I pounced on BEHL's dramatic rise while at the beach, using my iPhone to lock in profits via TD Ameritrade's app. Pushed about 6 buttons, voila', my money was made.

Then I resumed drinking and swimming a few seconds later.

to get the PDAnet app on iPhone you must Jailbreak it.
Google "Redsn0w" (with a zero as the o) to learn how. Or PM me your email and I'll forward you an email that I wrote to a buddy explaining the process.
FYI, after jailbreakimg you can get almost any app for FREE!! My favorite numbah.
