The Sirius "news that pertains to Sirius" thread

I really appreciate Charles' efforts to keep us SiriusXM investors abreast of news regarding SiriusXM's competitors. Instead of all those extremely useful and productive information getting lost within the daily threads I thought I would create one to consolidate all those wonderful updates.

To start off, thought I'd let you all know that the crappy, too late to the party SiriusXM iphone app has fallen to 15th place behind the amazing and groundbreaking Pandora app.

I'd request that this be stickified, but Charles posts enough competitor info to keep this at the top.

hope everyone is having a great weekend!

I'd move GS to the top, Motley to the bottom & get CNBC and the street off the list.

Hey dont you patrol this site or what, did you see all the bullshit threads advertising on your site. This isn't the first time ether.

Please pull that shit a little sooner. The longer you leave it up, the more of it you will get.

Your the IT guy It should be easy enough to put a filter in that if the same thread name is posted in more then one forum then it gets pulled automatically until your personal approval.

Agreed on Motley Fool. CNBC for setting a bull trap. Still cant trust them.
GS is debateable. We really dont have enough facts to support putting them higher. All speculation. But trust me, they are on Mels radar.

They need 2 or so more moderators. Ive told them this before. It was an honest critique, not an attack. Only help there site. The ads come in when its dead, and they sometiems get hours up.

    In general, as a company...

    1. They are free (although I dont care about that)
    2. The online quality of the feed is better.
    3. The ability to customize and cut out the BS when it comes to music.

Make no mistake about it, the Sirius app is #2 for today, NOT overall. Lets just be clear about that. I hope it is number 1 for the next year straight but, I am not going to crow about it until at least 30 days goes by and they can sustain that position.

Would you rather Sirius hold the #10 spot for 1 year or the number #2 spot for 2 weeks?
YET....the very first day pandora passes SXM we get front page news about it? WTF.

Why not wait until pandora is number one for 30 days???

Should have been a daily headline "SXM IS STILL #1"
